Thought CE had a bit more pride than wanting to be a dispensable squad player for RM

I would have thought ya signing some real quality might have got him excited again

He wants to go and win trophies, but when he had the chance to take control of a game and win one, he was found wanting.

Eriksen holding the cards here, if he doesn’t go now he will go for nothing next year. We will ultimately have to lower the price and and RM know that especially as they don’t see him as a regular and are therefore not desperate. Levy needs to get his best negotiating skills out and make sure we get Ceballos in exchange.

Eriksen info makes sense considering we seem to be pushing hard for Lo Celso and now Ceballos. (2 men enter, 1 man leaves).

Use Ceballos to get the Eriksen fee more manageable to Madrid. Maybe even Diaz if needed.

Eriksen have been great for us but if he is desperate to leave we have to find a way to get him out this summer.

A few bits mostly regarding outs.

CE. Wants out, is desperate for Madrid. They are keen however only see him as a squad player not as a galactico first team starter. This is causing pricing issues, as we have a price Madrid don't want to pay it, eriksen is in turn getting pissy!

Toby verrrry likely to still go, no idea who to,(plenty of rumours) as the clause in his contract means no one has had to negotiate with us.

Trips. Probably going.

There are others that could still go out, but as things stand these three are closest/most likely to go.

Still pushing hard for Lo C, he's definitley top of the hitlist atm. We want it done early this week. Have been told this next few days are big as far as knowing where we stand on certain deals are concerned.

Thanks Trix. If Eriksen is getting pissy then this ship has well and truly sailed. What disappoints me most with him isn't that he wants to leave it's that he's so desperate to play for a team that doesn't rate him very highly. I thought he'd have a little more of a spine than that so it's sad to see.

With Eriksen, Toby and Trippier possibly out of the door and us in the race for Lo Celso, Sessesegnon potentially as well as his brother and Ceballos on the table it looks likely to be a very busy few weeks for the club. We could easily make over £100m in player sales so ultimately what the club decide to do with those funds makes this window become more curious by the day.

Appreciate the update.

Surprised that Eriksen is getting 'pissy'. Thought he had more class. Still, if he's desperate to sit on RM's bench......

Rather be a squad player at RM than take part of potentially our most exciting season whilst being a key player. Cya

Let's be honest, if we end up getting Ceballos on loan with a view to a permanent deal next summer and use the Eriksen money and get Lo Celso in with it that's as good a piece of business we could hope and wish for. It would be a shame to see Eriksen leave but two excellent signings in, one with leverage off of CE going to RM and the other nabbing what seems to be Pochettino's number one attacking target looks great to me.

I'm bored with Eriksen now. He thinks he's a superstar, Zidane clearly doesn't, he needs to wind his neck in and get back to work with his actual team.

Very difficult for Levy on how he plays Eriksen. If he is forced to stay and see out his contract he is worth nothing and we have a player costing us £x per week and not performing. If he wants to be a bit part player for RM then what a waste as a top notch Eriksen would take us to new heights with our new incomings. But he believes he can make it at RM so we will have to get as much as we can for a player with only one year left in his contract. My guess is RM would offer us £30-40m. It’s Levy’s fault for not selling when he would not agree a new deal. But hey Danny boy has not made many mistakes and it is easy to manage these situations in our glass towers. But whatever he can get quickly is probably best. Let’s move on and it’s Eriksen’s loss.

Thanks for sharing @Trix. I think the sooner we find common ground on a price for Eriksen the better. He wants to leave has made it clear and I wouldn't begrudge him that.

Toby leaving saddens me. He seemed to intimate that he will be here next season. I think the club are pushing him out... Can't prove it though, but it my feeling nonetheless.

Trippier.... Not toooo fussed. Had he stayed I would be okay. Happy Trix doesn't mention Rose though (media reports he is up for sale) want to see him stay long term. I love his in your face attitude and he gives his all in games.

Weird how Eriksen so badly wants to go there but Madrid seem to just want him for the sake of it and as a squad player.

At spurs he’s first choice and we’re on up so just seems really odd move to want for me as Real aren’t looking like they want him that badly...

Yeah, RM clearly have the upper hand here.

It’s a great deal but it still doesn’t beat selling Bale and bringing in Chadli ...

Great update- the six year old decided to concuss himself in the early hours. Blood all over his face and mattress. I’ll take any distractions while I sit over him for the rest of the day

If we had sold Eriksen last summer for a higher price but ultimately missed out on Top 4 and the final would it have been seen as a smart move? Hindsight is great and all of that but we need to remember that sometimes holding onto a player one year longer and losing money on him is the better thing to do, just like sometimes it's best to not buy any players and stick with what we've got.

I dont begrudge CE wanting to go but if he knows he will be a squad player why the fuck does he want to go to RM? Not really getting it.

Still not happy about Toby going - id really like us to go for the league this season and for us to do that we will need a sound defence.

Hmmm. Dont like the position we're in with Madrid, seems like they'll get Eriksen at a cut price fee, I hope to god Levy brings his A-game for this.

Surprised Eriksen wants Madrid so bad if they just want him to be a bit part player. I guess if his name was Erikseninho then Madrid would want him more.

Cheers for the info, Trix.

Don't think they want him enough to bid anywhere near Levy's valuation. Will go down to the wire IMO.

Eriksen being pissy will force us to sell him cheaper or let him go for free later on. Hurts us either way.

I can genuinely see Levy letting Eriksen leave on a free rather than accepting a bid of say £30m for him. If the price is too low but ultimately having him helps us progress further in the league and in Europe the money we make will cover the £30m loss in a years time and get one year extra out of him. £50m is fair and if Eriksen doesn't see that and wants to get pissy about it, tough luck on him he's signed a deal guaranteeing is that he'd be committed to the cause until summer 2020.
