People keep saying Frank has a free hit but if they are absolutely rotten then they will surely want someone else in for when they get to spend money again? If Chelski keep playing like this Fat Frank will be gone by Christmas.
When you consider he scored 16 goals and got 15 assists then look at his replacements, they really do look like they're in trouble.I look at that Chelsea team and without their saviour Hazard it looks worse than Leicester and Wolves. I can see them finishing top 10 this season.
Skipp was used mostly as a No. 8 in preseason which makes me wonder whether Poch doesn't trust him with the responsibility of being a No. 6 in a CM3 or diamond formation just yet. I agree he's got a great future ahead of him but I'd be surprised if he were started in many top six matchups this season.I think Skipp is a decent DM. Better off the ball than Winks imo.
Chelsea could have done worse than Marcelo Bielsa to work with their talented youngsters. The 'they know the club' argument is largely a load of bollocks.
I'm not sure it would be Wolves mind. If they qualify for the group stages of the EL they're in trouble. I was shocked to see their lack of signings considering this. They've also loaned out a number of useful players. They will really struggle if one or two key players pick up an injury. When you consider he scored 16 goals and got 15 assists then look at his replacements, they really do look like they're in trouble.
Even if Pulisic does half as well and gets a respectable 8 goals and 7 assists, they're effectively 15 goals worse off which, in terms of goal difference puts them roughly on par with Everton who finished 8th. Add an inexperienced manager and a shonky defence to the equation and it's not unthinkable that they'd end up 9th or 10th if things don't go their way.
If today has shown anything, it's that Ole wants his United team based on pace and little else. They'll have a lot of success on the counter this season but will struggle to break down more defense minded teams.
I suspect you're probably right about Wolves, though they did bring in some young players and have a few more rotation options. I think they'll ultimately end up 7th or 8th.I'm not sure it would be Wolves mind. If they qualify for the group stages of the EL they're in trouble. Ole's at the controller.Somebody loves FIFA.
Utd fans were crying out for creative players all summer. If Pogba isn't at his best, like you say, they really look like they'll struggle against teams that sit deep and try to frustrate them.If today has shown anything, it's that Ole wants his United team based on pace and little else.
