According to a post on FTL ,TT gave an interview after the game to Finnish TV stating that he was suprised to have been brought on as he was not fit only having had one practise match since injury. He was also not sure which wing he was supposed to play on and during the game was told at least four times to swap wings he was currently on.
So despite having an England specialist winger to put on ,our genius manager puts on a half fit player without even giving him clear instructions as to where to play.Even worse when he does put on AL he manages to put him on the wrong wing too.
Please Jol fans explain how this is the boards fault.

It's the messageboard's fault.

If you believe every word you read on FTL, as Bill_Oddie would say, I feel bad for you son.

Do you know how many times that messageboard has had our club sold (done deals) with new managers installed (from Klinsmann to Mourinho to Redknapp) in the last couple of months? No?

It should be renamed Martin Jol Should Go From The Lane to describe their agendas more aptly.

This was posted by a Finnish poster who has an honest rep. So why should I doubt it ,do you have evidence that it didnt happen?
By the way thanks for the son comment ,little boy .I'm sure I'm old enough to be your father

It's a line from a song, I wasn't patronising you, bd. I remember you telling us of your sons caught up in Sevilla - I think I even PM'd you didn't I?

All I'm saying is given the propensity for mis-translations in football interviews ("dizzying offer" re: Ramos; "Drogba disillusioned" etc.) it's not exactly a ludicrous suggestion is it?

Not exactly ludicrous ,but dont dish it out of hand ,cos if it is true its a damming indictment.

I'll tell you for why (the first post). I used to spend a pretty much similar amount of time on there as I do now on here. Not posting, just reading.

And although being a great place to hear all the rumours first with the ITKs 'n' stuff, it is generally a very depressing place to go. This place is bad enough, but bloody hell it's enough to slit your wrists.

Almost all the members (I tend to avoid sweeping generalisations, but I think this is more than fair) and all the more vocal members are so anti-establishment and anti-Jol that they won't listen to reason or at least the other side of the opinion. It's really frustrating. They are Spurs fans after all and some of their links are awesome and it can be quite entertaining - but the doommongering and spin that occurs is incredible. It's like Alistair Campbell on top of a spinning top that's going on one of those playground roundabouts.

That's obviously my opinion, and to be taken with a large dose of sodium - but with the agendas that they present themselves, I wouldn't be surprised, is all.

Funny thing is I sometimes feel exactly the same about the Jol defenders on this board. "Its all the boards fault.Jol isnt respoinsible for purchases, tactics or anything except smiley interviews"
Still it takes all sorts to make up a world I suppose.

Lennon was listed as a 'slight doubt' on Physioroom on Sunday. In fact, he still is. So, unless you happen to belong to the Adel Taarabt Is The Answer To All Our Problems school of thought, it was a choice between a marginally fit TT and an iffy Lennon who was probably on the bench only because Jol didn't have too much in the way of options.

As for Lennon on the left being 'wrong', that's a matter of opinion.

Why do you have it in for me? Why have I got you so wound up? Is it because I won't fall in line with you?

The 'complex' is fascinating.

Ok lets hear it from you. In your opinion is Lennon a left winger. If you say he is please give me the evidence.
I would be prepared to say that if a poll of Spurs supporters was taken over 90% would say that he is a right winger first second and last.

i would 100% be in that 90% He is half the player when on the left.

Although I'm afraid I can't substantiate it, I'm certain I saw some stats (probably posted on here somewhere) fairly recently that Lennon has more assists and more goals playing from the left than from the right.
