I am bewildered how some of the so called spurs fans we have are so quick to engage in attacking the loyalty of our players who are out of form. The unfortunate ongoings at the club of late, didn't help the team in general at all.Now we must all have belief that we have got what it takes to move forward from here on and this can only be achieved if we all pull together in one direction, get behind our players and let bygones be bygones. I want to encourage the team to show us begining from this evening, how it could be done,by beating Happoel handsomely and in style.Bring back the Glory,Glory nights.Berba wil be back to his undoubted best I'm sure.

I knew Berby boy would come good!!
Nice one son - i said it yesterday and i'll say it again, a good showing in the Tel Aviv game tonight could be the springboard he needs to get the season going again!!

Bad body language or not, we know what he can do and if he's in the right state of mind, i bet you anything he'll pick his game up! As will all our strikers!

COYS!!!!! :)

i remember the official site also denying the meeting with ramos and had quotes from jol and levy saying how he was staying...
still, one can hope this is the truth

They were always unbelievably half arsed denials. This is far more emphatic, in fact it's pretty emotive language he uses (for Berba anyway).

Ex-Spurs coach Martin Jol knows full well where his former striker wants to be and where he has longed to be since the start of the season...Old Trafford.
The Express' 'DIMITAR JUST WANTS TO JOIN UNITED - JOL' has taken a chunk from the Dutchman's soon-to-be-released book which says: "Berbatov has that look of depression. He cannot always be depressed.
"I always had a good relationship with him. He has not been a problem, despite what everyone might think. The trouble is he wanted to go to Manchester United. That was in his mind, and I could not do anything about it."

Anyone know anything about this book of Jol's and when it will be released? Surely it takes more than a couple of weeks to knock a book up?

Thing is they are sometimes right, even though you insist it's all a load of balls. We all know that what is ITK today, is in the press tomorrow.

I dont by all this ITK crap, there mostly all wrong most of the time. Jol will still be manager of spurs come xmas.

What the hell is poyet gonna do lol? seriously.
Ramos wouldnt come to spurs if he couldnt pick his own staff and i know he would never pick poyet lol

Thanks, but I'll make my own mind up...

He'll be off to United in the summer, we all know that, but for now I will love him to bits like I would any other Spurs player (except Assou-Ekotto, the gimp).

Carrick
Berbatov
Bale

The future of Manchester United.

Yes but clearly the ITK are wrong, its only been of late that the odd one have been right and there more wrong than right same as the press.

I just wish they all stop making storys up. Berbatov seems pissed off about it all. If he wanted to leave then he'd go in january but he ain't.

Berbatov was never a lier or deceitful to Byan Lev so why would he be to Spurs.

What it comes down to I think is now the press cant say shit about Jol they've got bored and now are targeting another Spurs asset. They love to fuck Tottenham around.

I dont believe united would go for him now. Why would who they gonna drop? Rooney or Tevez? both good players and wouldnt like to be a bench warmer no would Berb.

Trust me, I feel the same as you. I posted a while ago that I thought all the speculation is probably getting him down, helping it become a self fulfilling prophecy.
Yes ITK is 50-50 at best, but they got Bale, Kaboul, Bent, Ramos & Poyet right. Hell even Jol has been quoted as saying "He wants to go to Man Utd and there was nothing I could do about it". Is Jol lying too?
These persistant rumours only persist because there is at least an element of truth to them.

I would be surprised if we sold him in Jan, but equally surprised if he was a Spurs player next season, unless by some miracle we win our next 20 games and get Top 4.

Of course, the best way to get the rumours to stop, is to sign an extension to his contract....

We're experts at this - we've been doing it for long enough

I think you are doing us all an injustice. We got burned by the Carrick and Sol situations.
When there's persistant rumours of the Club's best player (along with King, but he's rarely fit these days) wanting to leave, they are very hard to ignore. They not only unsettle Berbs, but they unsettle the team, the coaches, the board, and the fans.

What I have found with some spurs fans (not saying you, just a general observation) is that they will quite happily believe things in the press, if it's what they want to hear, but then suddenly jump into the 'don't believe it, it's all a load of rubbish' camp when it's something they don't want to believe. Hey I'm very probably guilty of it myself. It's human nature.

Once bitten, twice shy. (I refer to Sols 'I'm going nowhere' statements, weeks before he shafted us.)

I believe everything that Berbatov has said in the statement and I believe he will be at Spurs for many years to come.
He knows that Ramos is a winner and also one of the top coaches in Europe,he loves the club and the fans, why would he want to leave?Money is not his God!
I think its time for all of us to get behind him and really show him what he means to the fans!

Wasnt that long ago we were all saying -

"Berbatov is a man of honour!!! he will stick to his word"

Then alot of people starting questioning his form/Attitude..he sulks!! Keane runs around waving his arms about in the air, difference is Keane is scoring goals, if Berbie is scoring his grumpy attitude is tolerated.

Ill be honest ive read all that has been said in the media and i started to believe he was off....but he has come out, and for me has put it to bed.

I do believe he is a man of honour and i also believe as he has proved now if he has something to so say he will say it.
He is not on form and that is a worry to the fans, the club and of course to Dimitar, but he will come good hes to good not too.
