This is a very weak West Ham side. OK, it's not bad, but they're missing some really key players. If there was a time to play West Ham away, I'd say it was now.

Also, I may be wrong here, but it looks to me like Aaron Lennon will be playing on the left, with Steed on the right. Could be reading too far into the way it was written though.

Overall a fair result, but Green shouldn't have been on the pitch to save that penalty... And Mike Riley is supposedly our representative at Euro 2008, he was useless...

Kaboul had a nightmare again. Surely hes got to be dropped. Wasnt confident when Defoe stepped up as Keane is a normal Pen taker. A point is not too bad away but we could have won it. Not sure were gonna make Europe via the league though now.

Didn't think it was a bad show to be honest. I think there was some evidence of the work Juande has done in terms of organisation and fitness (althought the 2-5-3 formation confused me slightly!). Dawson looked a bit more solid, Kaboul didn't. Steed was great and Jenas worked very hard.

One question......would it have always been Defoe who took the pen OR if it weren't at Upton park would he have taken it?

why the fuck didnt berbatov take the penno ?

Defoe would have wanted it cos it's West Ham... He scored one last season, so you couldn't really deny him it... How many pens has Berbatov actually taken for us though?

Impressed.
Bit of a poor result but im very upbeat, bar Kaboul it was an excellent performance from the lads.
Jenas in particular was absolutly incredible today!
Zokora wasn't too bad either.
Robbo seems to be back to his normal self, made a few decent saves.

Anyway, the game, should have had a penalty in the first half, we deserved to win but I guess its just our typical luck.

Great performance though and looking forward to pushing on next week!

The academy of football? Don't make me laugh.. 31 fouls!!

and yet it was 3 or 4 yellows? that just doesn't sound right at all.

Not a clue what Chimbonda was trying to do catching the ball a few times at the back :|

Lots of possetion but didn't test Green much..realy at all.

But well to Robbo, some good save in there, and what about Kaboul about to walk down the tunnel after being subed.

Good call mate rep coming your way. Ultimately the result was a disappointment but the team performance was extremely encouraging
