True.

Amazing anyone wants rid of Mourinho before we get rid of the Sissokos and Diers though. But I suppose some people just hate Mourinho more than they like Tottenham :D
I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, simplistic and childish thinking.

You don't have to get rid of Dier etc OR get rid of Jose!

How anybody can argue in defense of Jose, is beyond me. Not only do we play turgid football with absolutely no sign of improvement, but he is destructive presence who is just alienating our best players with his arrogance and backwards tactics.

If I had to choose, I would get rid of Jose before Dier, simply because a new manager can choose who and how he plays but you can't drop the manager from the team!

Jose has to go once the Carabao Cup final is over, no matter what result.

Even under a caretaker manager for the remainder of the season, I think we will see improvements from the players and whoever comes in as caretaker will probably use more of Bale, Toby, Rodon and GLC.

Doing that will prob cost Levy 20m more than if he did it when top 4 is no longer possible. He isn't stupid

If all your players are bad, perhaps it's not the players but the system?
Unlikely

Why wait that long?

I doubt that the bonus for getting top four is £10m per season (basing on that he has two seasons left in his contract). I think it’s a lot less than that, if you exclude his normal wages.

Slow down. I asked which hypothetical scenario would people prefer. I never said we have to get rid of Dier or get rid of Jose, I was asking a hypothetical question.

I definitely saw twice today posters saying they hope we lose so Mourinho gets sacked. There were probably more. That’s what’s childish.

Which of our best players has he alienated?

Do you not think Mourinho inherited a poor squad? Why was Poch talking about painful rebuilds if the squad was so great? Wouldn’t it be fair to judge Mourinho after a few windows, let him get rid of the shit and build his own team? Do you reject the possibility that the shower of shite out on the pitch are more a contributing factor to the bad performances than Mourinho? Or do you find replacing Mourinho more important than replacing the bad players? I for one definitely do not.

Who are we going to bring in that is going to make Sissoko or Dier any good?

We only drew because the Everton defence thought they were ours.
Whenever I hear the phrase ‘ lucky, lucky, lucky ‘ I always salivate about Kylie Minogue bouncing up and down on a bed. Now I just think of this game...bugger

We have literally become the new Arsenal and all those literally obsessed with sacking Mourinho are just like those who hounded out Wenger.

The guy who was managing this group of players but was expected to win all the time;

What did they do? Sack him, brought in two shiny new managers, bought loads more shit players and ended up worse.

It’s almost as if the players you have in the team affect the performances more than the manager.

Are you really comparing this 2 squads?
No, you missed the point. Wenger was sacked because he’s was deemed a failure, when you can clearly see the players he had were probably more of the problem.

They sacked him and ended up even worse off, not because they got bad managers in, more because they bought a load more shit. The point I was making was they were probably better off improving the team before sacking one of the greatest managers in history.

Bale is on what, 300k a week and has put in about 4 or 5 good performances all season? He has already said he wants to go back to Madrid next season as well.

I don’t get all the pining for him either tbh. He’s been a huge let down for me and is hardly any better than Lucas these days

This is squad from like 2011? He left in 2018. That wasnt squad to win something.
In comparison, our current squad is good enough to be top6/top4 and is certainly better than Leicester and West Ham

He hasn't said he wants to go back to Madrid. His loan spell ends so he will have to go back to Madrid. We have the option to extend his loan if we don't that is what will happen. Please keep up, we all know the situation with Bale (except a minor few). Ndombele, Sissoko and Aurier start ahead of Bale is ridiculous.

I completely disagree. We haven’t been better than Leicester for a while now, I’m not interested in overrating our squad like this. Their goalkeeper is just as good, if not better. Their defence is much better and their midfield better too. It’s a big reason why they are always above us and play better football than us.

West Ham are a couple of good signings away from having a better team too, whether we want to admit it or not. Their keeper is just as good if not better. Defence is better, midfield just as good. Performing better.

Blind arrogance will get us nowhere.

"Going into the Euros I wanted to be match-fit. The original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid.

"My plan is to go back, that's as far I have planned."

The fuck you mean “please keep up”? So you know his private situation despite what he’s openly said in the media?

West ham should push the boat out for Kane and Son then. Our we buy thier defence and midfield.

Sissoko is #1 out for me, complete passenger than doesn’t effect the game going forwards and negatively impacts us defensively
Next out is Aurier and Doherty, both get beaten for fun. I bet oppo left wings and full backs love playing us. Mistake, jump in, out of position. New Solid RB a must, even if they don’t massive add going forwards, just please let us find a real reliable RB
Next Dele, followed by Winks, (if stories are to be believed) maybe a new manager can transform Dele back, maybe but Winks again is limited.
Bergwijn can go, use the money elsewhere, not enough contributions where it counts. Moura way ahead of him atm.
I’m selling Sanchez before Dier. I do like that Dier can mix it when someone steps out of line. I just don’t see much in Sanchez, but both can go for a top quality Toby long term replacement
Open to others but we wouldn’t get full value from selling so best to keep and find a manager that can motivate and work them properly into a system
