No I agree with you.I’m somewhat reluctant to raise this thought, as I am sure it could come across as sanctimonious pearl-clutching… and perhaps it is and I am yet to realize it, but does Kane’s actions in the greater context of the world these last 18 months leave a particularly bad taste in anyone’s mouth? Refusing to work while earning top wages, while so many people have lost jobs is in incredibly poor taste.
And if he is indeed taking advantage of quarantine restrictions to delay his return, as some have suggested, then that’s even worse. That is speculation though, so let’s leave that at that for now.
I thought I would post to get a gauge on if I’m over-reacting or if there is a rational agreement with this.
I've felt so down on spurs. Mourinhos reign to me was awful, poisonous and I started to dislike the team. The manager search made it worse, especially the mendes links.
I've always backed the players though. I know agents, I've been a scout I'm not naive enough to think players are supporters but I feel this generation have always shown a class and respect towards the sport.
Kane paints himself as the ultimate pro but actually he is just acting like a spoilt, ignorant and arrogant prick. No problem with him wanting to leave but be professional about it and show some respect to the millions of fans who have always backed you.
To just stay in florida is disgusting. In any other line of work he would be sacked without a reference. I guess he thinks he can do what he wants.
