People talking about how he wasn't the most talented, on the ball maybe, but the bloke was an absolute monster for 2 years. An absolute beast in transition who won every duel. Instrumental in the CL final run and was a prominent first team player until the turn of the year. Clearly loved in the changing room too. Good luck Moussa.

I agree. He wasnt the best but he helped relieve some pressure - you kinda give him the ball and he would just run with it - he was strong and powerful and gave us a bit of muscle in the middle. He had his place in team and was influential in a weird way in our CL run like you say.

I feel underappreciated. Think he is what Watford need in all honesty. A bit of bite and someone with presence in the middle.

Per Watford:

Sissoko, who has 70 international caps and 259 Premier League appearances to his name, has agreed a two-year contract with Watford and is available for Sunday’s meeting with former club Spurs.
Guess they got the paperwork in on time then. Be interesting to see him and Rose return.

If his odds are 10/1 or better for anytime goalscorer on Sunday I'm chucking a tenner on it.

Pleased for him to be spoken about like this, rather than the vitriolic scapegoating he's had ever since he signed here

To be fair he's exactly what a team like Watford needs to stay up. Hardworking, solid (in his own unique way), experienced, and will run his fucking nuts off. He's just not what we needed to challenge for top 4.

I wouldn't personally speak bad of him, but it was clear his time here was up.

The fans high up on the South stand are ready to catch all of the wayward balls!
I've heard they've strung a special net attached to the cockerel, just to try and catch some of the low-flying ones.

Just jesting. I'm glad he's been transferred as we need to upgrade, but I'm still going to miss him.

Yeah I agree - he hasn't ever really been "what we needed" but, despite initial concerns, he appears to have been a great guy to have around the club, a top professional, and an extremely hard working guy.

It could be argued that Scotty P was never technically good enough to play for us, but he made up for it in spades with his work rate and determination - it's just a shame that Moussa never had the level of affection Scott had.

Glad to see him move to pastures ne as I think it's the best thing for him and for us.

No need to slate the guy as I think we all know his positives and negatives.

Was a part of the Porch team that I loved watching so will always be grateful for his contributions to that.
