I think now Emerson, Romero, Lo Celso all likely to be in the squad at least (maybe not Davinson) and not impossible Emerson &/or Romero start depending on how they train tomorrow.

I wonder who the new injuries Nuno alluded to have affected; anyone obvious missing from training snaps?

Blimey just seen Bruce presser. To say he was rattled understatement of the year. There’s absolutely no way his full focus could be on this game. So many distractions for him and players this week. Players knowing most likely it’s his last game. I think it could negate the bouncing crowd.

Tanganga and Doherty. Could be why Emerson feels he will be involved on Sunday.

After Bruce's presser I'm more confident.
The supporters do play a part but it's the players and management team who are more important.
Players will feel more pressure and the insecurities will hopefully mean they slip up.
I hope Dr Tottenham doesn't turn up to help them feel better

Ah, yes, that makes sense… Doherty came off injured in Ireland game and Tanganga missed U-21s, so you’re right, that explains Emerson comment that he’s expecting to play.

Rules have changed for football. If they are vaccinated, they can self isolate with their clubs & take part in games/training. Our quartet are vaccinated so they will all be available on Sunday(if they can play off 1 training session). It’s why they are heading back to England this time around instead of Croatia.
I wasn't aware of that.

Possible BS, but came before Gold's tweet about the cases:

Wow, terrible news if true. October was always going to be tough, now it looks like a nightmare. Once again looks like the international break will cause us major problems

On the bright side, whoever it is will be back in time to play two league games before the next international break!

That's one way of looking at it ?As I've been saying we were left short in the window. Should have got Tomiyasu in as well as Emerson plus a back up striker or goalscorer.
We're probably going to take a tired Emerson up to Newcastle play him there, and then Thursday in Holland?
Once again a trophyless season beckons, and 7 to 11 looks likely as a Lge finish.
