Lets hope the 2 are doherty n winks (ps i hope they ok) but those 2 missing would be a blessing in disguise so they just cant be picked
Maybe we will see more involvement from our youth options and see the next sparklings start to come throughIf true regarding Son and Gil, we’ve been ravaged by yet another international break.
On the one hand you can say we’ve been massively unlucky but on the other Levy refused to invest in attacking areas over the summer. Letting Bale, Lamela, and Vinicius go while only bringing in Gil was just as negligent as many of Levy’s biggest fuckups.
Every club in Europe knew they were in for disruption with the busiest international calendar of all time taking place in the midst of a pandemic. We went into the season without adequate squad depth so we can’t put it all down to misfortune.
I was double jabbed March and May this year - still got Covid(ironically at Spurs v Man City)! Is sonny not double jabbed? We don’t know for certain who it is. Waiting for official news
With the news that Son and Gil are out for 10 days due to COVID and the possibility that both Doherty and Tanganga might be out with injuries for Sunday, here's my best attempt at a line-up.
Hugo
Emerson - Dier - Rodon - Reguillon
PEH - *Skipp
Lucas - Ndombele - Dele
Kane
*If Skipp get's a yellow-card, he would miss our next game vs WHU
Not great to look at and hopefully it's enough to see us through on Sunday. Will be interesting to see what type of team NES sends out on Thursday as Stevie is still working his was back to fitness and Sessegnon seems to have been erased from the team.
Gollini
Tanganga**/Doherty** - Romero - Sanchez - Davies
Winks - Skipp
Markanday - GLC - Stevie**
Scarlett
**Fitness doubts.
Don't worry Bergwijn is apparently back in training and by the law of averages he is due to score a goal this season.
Absolutely, this could be not just be a silver lining to a very dark cloud, but a gilt edged gold covered one ?If Son and Gil is true Markanday has to get his chance.
Exactly, we've been left short yet again by the window. Needed to get in a back up striker or goalscorer. Plus Tomiyasu as well as Emerson. If true regarding Son and Gil, we’ve been ravaged by yet another international break.

Hope so, starting with Markanday getting his chance from the bench Sunday and starting in one of the Cup gamesMaybe we will see more involvement from our youth options and see the next sparklings start to come through

Assuming that Son and Gil or anyone is not seriously ill, and Markanday shines as I think he will
EDITED POST as I realize originally post might have been seen as underplaying seriousness of situation. I was just agreeing with the idea that out of adversity sometimes good can come
He wasn't picked as a sub for our last ECL game and wasn't in any of the pictures released this week of the players training ( Omole, John, Scarlett, Patsoski were all involved). I would love nothing more than for him to get minutes in the ECL but it seems NES is not a fan or there's something happening behind the scenes with his contract. All of that to say, we would likely see NES shaving his beard off on the touchlines before Markanday gets a start in the league over Dele.Id rather give markanday a chance on sunday and keep dele on the bench just in case
Agree with that, just hope this chance moves Markanday more center stageI’d say it’s far more likely that Bergwjn starts than Markanday.
Markanday may be more of a bench option for ECL now.
I mean yeah, the vaccine doesn't stop you getting it, but should (hopefully) stop you getting really sick.I was double jabbed March and May this year - still got Covid(ironically at Spurs v Man City)!
