Yeah but if Stevie didnt get that last goal would you really be laughing? How in the fuck did we almost lose/draw that game? The bedwetting was understandable imo.
Absolute pish. Highest xG in a prem game this year, totally dominated them. We were just unlucky not to have trounced them. Some of the moaning and complaining in this thread was utterly unhinged and way off.

I'm not saying we played bad... we played good! But losing or drawing that would've hurt a lot, maybe even more than just getting outplayed on the night, because its even worse when you play really well but still cant seem to find a way to win (at least imo). Its a very common theme that we seem to just be 'unlucky' with not getting the goals. I wonder why?

I'm a firm believer that most online negativity is just a reflection of much deeper personal issues, forums etc are just used as a an outlet.
It used to wind me upon something rotten, nowadays I'm a bit more empathetic about it and hope that the posters resolve the underlying cause that makes them post in that way.
Spurs isn't the underlying cause, it's just the vehicle they're using to vent.

I have no problem with people highlighting the negativity though, after last nights shenanigans its funny as fuck.

I don't think it's a common theme that we are unlucky. How many games would you say that's the case to come up with that conclusion out of interest? But I agree; it would have hurt a lot to have lost or drawn that game, but that's football. A good performance is never a guarantee of a result. The big issue is that apart from a couple of spots we played about as well as possible, our players mostly over-performing (even Doherty!) and yet so many on here were constantly slamming everything. I get the need for an outlet to vent during a game, but seriously, some of the negativity in today's match thread was insane considering how well we were playing.

To think we are this high in the League with the squad we currently have is just f'ing incredible. When Conte gets summer signings and hopefully 1 or 2 in before deadline day we will be a behemoth

Soyuncu tried punching the ball out of the goal for our 3rd haahahaahha

The ball was so far over the line that I think he might have punched it out of frustration, but had it still been on the line and we had to take a PK...

In the cold light of day having re-watched the highlights again, Hojbjerg was fucking epic in those last 5 mins. Brilliant block in the 90th min to stop Barnes probably making it 3-1, perfect cross for the equaliser, won the ball back to start the move for the winner. What a contribution.

Also a subtle one...Bergwijn's cushioned touch to Kane ten seconds before his first was delightful. The philistines will praise his goals. You guys are so obvious.

It's unlucky sometimes that keepers have a brilliant game, it's sometimes down to poor finishing, it's unlucky that Leicester scored from two deflected tackles and blocks last night.

Definitely - wins like that will bring the team together and remind them what winning means and how that feels...

...prepared to be disappointed on Sunday but last night was amazing - not felt that way after watching a Spurs game since Amsterdam.
