This is the most interesting part of all of this imo. Why would we have we attached a 48 hour deadline in the final week of the transfer window.

I agree. Nearly every single one of those goals came from him receiving the ball on the left, cutting inside, and picking out the far corner with his right. Looks a player for sure, but I just don't see how compatible he is with Son. Not sure he will get the same amount of time and space in the Prem to make that cut and pick out the far corner every time.

The real questions are - would he come to us, and would we be able to get him without being gazumped by a bigger club. From how people talk about him and his profile itseems unlikely but stranger things have happened, maybe Conte is a big draw, maybe we get lucky.
