Other factor to bear in mind is he works his absolute socks off. He’s a relentless presser, loves a challenge and even in Alegri’s more cautious system this season he’s putting up fantastic pressing stats.

From his Wikipedia for all those wanking on about RWBs:

A tall, physically strong, and versatile player, Kulusevski is capable of playing in several midfield and attacking roles, and has been deployed as an attacking midfielder, as a box-to-box midfielder, as a winger on either flank, or even as an offensive-minded central midfielder, known as the mezzala role in Italian (literally "half-winger"); his main position is playing as an attacking midfielder behind the striker.[30] He has also been deployed as a makeshift centre-forward on occasion.

Both left footed?

Tell us more about him then for those of us who don’t get to watch on PL football.
From what I have seen from the Swedish national team he's a pretty hard working right winger, with decent technique and a good left foot. Do think people are overreacting a bit about his lack of pace as well. He's not lightning quick like Son for example but he's definitely not slow. Personally think there's lots of potential in him. Not sure if a winger is our biggest priority but wouldn't be against a loan+option at all.

Kulusevski and Amrabat is a good window in my opinion. We need to upgrade CM, CB and RWB for the first XI but we at least have all the holes covered with this move and could afford to wait until summer.

Excellent point, on top of his skill he has those hard worker, pressing qualities to add to boot, right up Conte's alley for sure

Are we after anyone that we actually need? Any winger who won't start any time soon is a luxury signing, when we have glaring gaps all over the first team (and squad).
Who is going to sit for Kulusevski to play? Son? Lucas? No way. Maybe when one of those is out.
Makes you wonder how much of a say Conte has on potential signings.

Levy has pulled a master stroke. Conte wanted a striker, RWB and CM, Paratici and levy have found him one man who can do it all. Genius.

His absolute stand out trait is his workrate. Runs for 90+ minutes both in offence and defence. + He had 19 assists and goals in Parma and he’s much better on the ball than everyone in Spurs bar Kane.

In a Conte team I can absolutely see the appeal and how he would fit in. For the the quoted fee (around 30m?) I’d say it’s a good deal. Especially if it’s no obligation to buy.

Seems Milan were linked to him earlier in the window and their fans were pretty positive about it.

I know it's not as sexy as a Diaz or Raphinha but it could be a really handy signing for us.

Also it's firmly in the Paratici contact base so he might even get this one over the line!

Fabio Paratici is more enthusiastic about #thfc signing Dejan Kulusevski than Antonio Conte. Antonio Conte would prefer the club sign Weston McKennie. [Calcio Mercato]

21 years old, plays a multitude of positions and has been successful at Parma and Juventus.

If he can translate that to the PL there's potentially a player there for the next 8-10 years.

No brainer.

Not seen him play, but from the descriptions of him as slower and left rooted it seems like a RWB would be even more important alongside him

Why is this?

He looks to have some good characteristics to do well in a Conte team (in the Moura slot). Hardworking, decent size and a good left foot. Juve have been a bit of a mess since he joined them. He's not rapid but hardly slow either.

I'm sure you've seen a lot more of him than I have so just curious mainly?

He goes missing from games, more than Lucas.

Im afraid he is way too slow in both head and legs for the fast paced premier league.

Just an underwhelming signing for a top6 club in any top European League tbh.

Wish him all the best ofc if we go ahead and sign him. But i can bet money on the fact he will be a flop for us.

Really hope this dont have legs.

I'm normally way off with transfers but Kulu seems closest to an Eriksen replacement that we've been linked with. Well, except for Eriksen of course.

I think this kid is the real deal. Been watching him for ages and the talent is clearly there.

Also re: "why would we sign him when we have Bergwijn/Lucas" posts.... I think it's clear Conte sees Bergwijn as a striker.

I would imagine a 3-5-2/4-4-2 hybrid with Son and Kulusevski out wide and Kane and Bergwijn in a striker partnership would be the end goal here if this signing goes through. With Lucas providing depth for both wings and Bergwijn. Just my thougts.
