Just wanted to mention how lovely it was to see the cat kicker have such a cracking game. Own goal, deflection for the second and drawn into Kane to leave Son clean through for the third. Delightful
And a court case to come as well... Great week for him.

We need West Ham out of the Europa ASAP. If they win it and an English club wins CL (highly likely)
Then 4th place goes into Europa. Only 5 clubs can go in the CL.
Tanguy needs to pull his finger out. Probably Barca await in semis if they do get past Lyon.
The commentators brought this up but wouldn’t this only be a problem if the English team that won the CL didn’t also finish in the top 4? That could only be Chelsea now United are out, and they would need to collapse in the league. Can’t see it happening

The one down side was our vulnerability form corners. The one they scored form Son started out marking Dawson (who is one of their best attackers of a ball), passed him on top Doherty so he could track Benrahma, and then did not track him anyway. I think we're at the point where we'd just be better off having the likes of Reguilon and Son on the posts (which would stop most of the goals we concede from corners)
Personally I'd leave Son on the halfway line. If the opposition dont leave 2 on him they better be very confident they win the ball.

As an Essex Boy it's always wonderful to put the Eel muching Canning Town Bingo & Social Club in their place. With a bit more luck it could and probably should have been 4 or 5-1.
I live in a semi rural part of Essex but they've all been moving out here. The local pub had the game on but I couldn't face being amongst that lot.
Wish I'd gone now ?

Wouldn't this only apply if the CL winning team went to a PL team that finished outside the top 4? Liverpool, City and Chelsea aren't dropping out, and if West Ham won Europa and we finished 4th we would still get CL as you're allowed to have 5 english teams in the competition

What’s the betting that sky push the West Ham were tired reasons and nothing about how we were the better side

Fifteen years ago next month that we played Sevilla (a) on the Thursday and then Chelsea (a) on the Saturday lunchtime

So happy we beat these pricks. Was unfortunate enough to be stuck on a tube with some on Thursday night and they were giving it large chanting about us. Nice to shut them up for a bit

I think one thing that often isn't taken into account when in a race for a position/championship is timing.

City looked unbeatable and were hardly dropping any points. Yet Liverpool suddenly started getting in the groove and now they have the momentum.

I remember in 05 and 06 when we we're close to top 4 and pipped by Arsenal.

We looked like we'd get it and Arsenal Lost some silly games. Yet they had that run at the end and we dropped too many points in only a couple of games.

Same when we we're pushing United and City and everyone was saying how good we were. Arsenal were poor that year but once again just plugged away and finished strongly, depsite it looking nailed on for us to get 3rd.

You have to stay in the hunt and then when the pressure ramps up, that's when the winner emerges and the previous form of the losing team is largely forgotten.

Anybody else less nervous when we play it out from the back these days? Feels like we are much better at it now. That play in the corner on the right second half was superb.

You have to laugh at some on KUMB referring to travelling over to our dump. What dump would that be? The state of the art stadium that we built.

Funny coming from a team that….
A) Don’t own the ground they play on
B) Is not even a football stadium, and
C) Is literally built upon toxic shit

I can’t believe how much Kulusevski and Bentancur have improved us
There were quite a few posts complaining that Paratici/Conte just brought them in because going to Juventus was easy and it was a lazy transfer move. But it's almost as if they knew what those 2 had the potential to do.
