Good professional performance. Beat 'that lot' and the officials. Worried that Hojberg, Romero and Lenglet may now be injured though.

Porro has got a job on his hands getting in ahead of Emerson
Good... competition for places. They are both dedicated and hard working players... Emerson showed again today that he is willing to go a long way for us. Impressive attitude with all the stick he has been getting.

Royal was so good again today. Looks like signing a £40m rwb has turned him into one.

Props to Ben Davies who did great a lwb aswell.

VAR is muff cabbage. Still the same old obvious shit missed but with added delays that suck the joy out of many moments of drama.

Not had time to read the thread but just wanted to say how on earth can the VAR watch that handball and not think penalty all day long?
Made me chuckle that the commentator mentioned that it's not a hand-ball if the player is using that arm to break his fall. He didn't even fall over, literally just waved his arm down. ?

Do you think it’s just the form of Emerson keeping Porro out or do you think they have found him a bit lightweight to come straight in?

Rice is way too good for West Ham and surely moves this Summer. If they don't get relegated beforehand they will without him.

Emerson Royal is becoming a force to be reckoned with, really impressed with him again today. We just need to teach him how to put a ball into the box, poor old Richarlison was making runs into the box for the cross and they never came.
By far the better side today completely dominated and if you're a West Ham fan you ought to be be worried but I'm not a West Ham fan so I'm not?
Top four where were should be, onward and upword.

COYS!

Finally back after a loonnnggg day. First half was ok. Solid but a bit toothless as we often look.

Second half was much better. Hard to isolate exactly why but Kulu was more dynamic and we started playing quicker in transition.

Skipp was superb. PEH good and with a sublime ball for the first. Defence was solid apart from a few moments from Lenglet and a eye widening cameo by Perisic.

Davies was his usual industrious and self sacrificing job doer moved to lwb. Richarlison showed signs and pressed well. Dier was solid and mistake free. Romero was his usual psychotic self.

And what can you say about Emerson Royal? Our best player in 2023 and you can see the confidence and assurance growing with each performance. Ever since he put the team on his back with 5 minutes to go in the first half vs Fulham (leading to kanes winner) the bloke has been utterly superb.

Not giving us a penalty for that hand ball has to be the worst decision in the PL this season. You can’t get more hand ball than that
