You said 'You can say that’s cheating but really it isn’t it’s a commercial asset we have that others don’t'.

That statement is incorrect, every other football team has a stadium/facilities that is used regularly for non-football events.
Our stadium is just better at it so it's not 'cheating', it's just optimising the same commercial opportunities as every other team has.

When most refer to commercial income in football it’s normally shirt deals other sponsorship deals etc. extra stadium income isn’t really a marker in commercial because till now it’s been very insignificant apart from naming rights. So that’s why I said “ cheating “ but really it isn’t we’ve just created a brand new significant revenue stream.

Stretching as it does across real estate, finance, biotech, hospitality, energy, agriculture, technology, how much attention Joe pays to l’il ol’ Spurs is debatable. I have read that his daughter Vivienne, who is on the board of Tavistock, is very interested in us though.
Regardless Lewis’s level of interest in football itself, given that his share of THFC is potentially worth up to £2 billion (and therefore comfortably Tavistock Group’s single most valuable asset, representing a good 40% of his net worth), there can surely be little doubt that he pays considerable attention to THFC’s company performance, along with the wider business sector in which it operates.

I would be surprised if Levy is looking to sell now. After 20 years he seems to be approaching the endgame of having a facility that can generate funds to support a successful football club. He’s had pelters for “20 years, one League Cup”, so why now, when he’s got the funds, the Football MD and manager in place, would he walk away and let someone else get the glory?

Add to that the appointment of the “Content Creation Machine” Todd Kline, who sees us as an “audience company” and has a myriad of ideas to generate revenue (more about Todd here https://www.sportspromedia.com/anal...-rights-nfts-spurs-play-todd-kline-interview/) and it just looks to me to be THFC finally getting to where we’ve all been waiting for it to arrive.

All that said, if the right offer comes in…

Levy is actually a fan though. I really don't think he will want to sell. Yes he has other business interests, but his day-to-day job is as Chairman of THFC. As you point out, now we're finally able to step up to the big boys level on sustainable footing it makes no sense for him to sell. What is he going to do with his time? He's relatively young for a chairman at 60 so it wouldn't surprise me if he continues for another 10-15 years at the helm.

It does make me wonder whether stars are aligning and it would be a good time to announce a naming rights after we have made our major signing push.

They will only sell if they see the growth plateau, or a future change in football fortunes, I am not at all sure that they are remotely close to this point these people are not the Glaziers. Although the Levy family are short enough to make excellent window cleaners if spurs go tits up

I’m sure Levy will be sitting in the stadium as proud as punch to tonight seeing part of his vision realised. Fair play to him he had a plan over 20 years and now it’s all coming together. He never wavered under all the criticism must have skin like leather tough as old boots.

He says that if the club hadn't been run the way it has over the last ten years the stadium would have been extremely difficult because the banks would have charged much more interest. Interest rate of approx 2-3% due to extremely secure finance.
I've often thought that this was the case, and it's been something that is easy to miss when we talk about ENIC's spending model over the past years. It's us as fans who have "suffered" from the scrimping and saving, but that makes me feel a lot more attached to the stadium because it feels like we have been a real part of earning it.

In terms of ENIC selling, there have been some very good points made by others on here that when you are looking to sell a big organisation you put a management team in place to show that there will be minimal disruption when you yourself leave. It looks like those sorts of moves have been taking place. That's obviously not a guarantee that they will sell but it seems like that option is more viable/secure now than it has been previously.

It's an interesting couple of years coming up for ENIC. Lewis isn't getting any younger so does he want to cash in? Levy has his best chance to win stuff as a chairman so would he fight to remain? Do any of us fans really care about the two of them any more!?

Media stuff just continues to grow. I don’t want to be rude but anyone suggestioning that club value has reached a peak I think is just talking nonsense. Nice to see will be CL MOTD.

We'll leave this to United fans to increase their toxic abuse towards the Glaziers.. I'm also hoping that Boehly makes a pigs ear of Chelsea, that turns the fans against him. I'm also sure the Goons will start throwing abuse at Kroenky if they start the season off badly

We could so easily be in the position of Everton or Villa. I know we have had missed opportunities and mistakes have been made. But the trajectory of the club over 20 years under ENIC has been massive. In a period when we were at a massive disadvantage due to a disastrous 90's, the CL money giving Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea significantly more income, and financially doped clubs (Man C and Chelsea).
