As far as puns go, if they have been done before multiple times and done to death ( djeth: this one being an example) an off topic rating could be considered fair game . But if someone has actually posted one that hasn't been made before ( which is amazing considering) then maybe hold fire on that little far right button.

Anyhoo... summers here, it's the most exciting transfer window I've experienced. The future looks lillywhite.
Yes, A&C should probably diSPENCE some sort of PUNishment, probably in the form of Truth or Djed

Tbh if a fella in the boozer kept repeating the same unfunny joke, he’d probably have been told to fuck off long ago, so this maybe isn’t the best example

Please tell us where your local is. We can all avoid it ?

Ok i've tried the nice way (two or three times) but it's getting beyond ridiculous to the point where it's just serial spam.

Make a pun. Get banned. Make a comment about a pun. Get banned. It's as simple as that now.

Well done.

Back to the football - did you know that there is a 3 min compilation of Spence performance in the doubled legged fixture against Spurs in the FA cup as an 18 year old? Well, now you do.

I think this was the first time us as fans became aware of Spence as opposed to his most recent season for Forest. He looked a talent several years ago and has matured as a player since then (Billy big bollocks aside).

I’m waiting for this to be made official so I can see what squad number he gets!

I’m guessing 16 as we have some weird obsession with giving it to right backs in recent years starting with the legend that was Chris Gunter.

Then Kyle Naughton, Kieron Trippier and KWP all followed suit!

Kinda weird really.

Personally I’d have really liked him to take 22 but that’s Perisic’s temporary number and he may either stay with it if Rodon doesn’t leave or switch too late for Spence to take it.

There's a social experiment here.... this signing/ announcement needs to drag on another week perhaps.

There's a correlation between the anti funs..... ( see what I did there) and those in despair that it hasn't been announced yet.

The signing happens when it happens. Doesn't change anything in the greater scheme of things. He isn't starting ahead of Roysl or Doherty in any event. He has sufficient time for a pre season and to be eased in.
