Surely Poch won’t go there.
He doesn’t have many options. He can’t really afford to turn down a major job for sentimental reasons. It’s not as if the Spurs job is likely to be vacant any time soon. How many ex chelsea managers (including their greatest of all time) have felt similarly about coming here…

Potter is smart enough not to go there I think.

I reckon it'll be poch.

He'll be sacked within 2 years like everyone else is

Feels extremely premature
I agree to an extent, but they were terrible towards the back end of last season and our game aside haven't played well in a single match this season.

I doubt anyone will come in and do much better, I think their squad is the problem. Plus I'm sure the main reason why they signed Auba was because of the Tuchel connection.

Very early! I wonder whether he never matched Boehly's vision, or if the new ownership are just extremely impatient...

Yeah I can see that. But they’ve picked up some points and have loads of new signings to bed in. There was huge disruption last season too. I would’ve thought waiting until the WC would’ve made the most sense.

I thought he'd be booted by the World Cup, but reading the Telegraph article it suggests some fundamental relationship flaws with Todd and Tuchel, so it sounds like the old story. They're tipping Potter, Poch or Zidane.. me, I have a feeling Todd will want a 'name' so I'm betting it's Zidane.

I suppose the one positive is that I'm not sure they can really improve on the defence they had about a year or so ago. Rudiger was unreal in their 3atb system and Thiago Silva is absolutely world class but is on the verge of retirement. Fofana and Gvardiol are two of the best upcoming CBs in world football but I'm not even sure they can live up to what Chelsea are losing.

And while Cucurella is very decent, he's in no way a £60m player. He's great technically, but I don't think he's anywhere near as good going forward as Chilwell, nor is he as good at LCB as a dedicated LCB would be. Bit of a jack of all trades that will ultimately end up a squad option, I think.

IMO he is one of those players who can't help himself, he has to shithouse in plain sight. Can't resist a kick/pull/elbow
