Tonight? It's only been about 10 minutes.
Yes, he's scored a cracker but Dean Marney scored a cracker too. ?

(I'm only being pedantic btw, he's a good player but the fact you said to look at him tonight ..?)
Seen most of his games at Leipzig. A player we could use.

That Alphonso Davies fella from Canada is not bad. He must be attainable ?

Piero Hincapie (LCB) and Pedro Porro (RWB) would be very high on my wish list but not sure if either would be available in January.
We were linked with Hincapie previously i think.

Olmo? Unless I've somehow lost the whole thread of the conversation
No, my bad!
I was busy arguing with some daft bint in a spurs FB page because apparently, it's great out in Qatar and the stadiums are amazing, better than nwhl.
When I dared to question her ethics, she mentioned the British empire and glass houses?!

I'm trying to multitask but I'm a bloke and get easily confused!

McKennie is bang average wouldn’t pick him above any of our four CM. We can improve CB GK RWB LWB and all would be a bigger priority than CM
While I’d love an American on Spurs, you’re not far off on McKennie. Only one of our CM I’d pick him over is Skipp.

The American player I want is Musah. Can play as most attacking of the CM as well as out on the right.

I think he may count as home grown as well.

The kind of signing we need at the moment if we want to be competitive. Sign second rate, remain second rate team.

Agree, but targets must be attainable. We are not the most attractive club, unfortunately. In general I agree we must recruit the top talents.

Yeah exactly. Now he’s shown he can play very well in a 2 he has his pick of clubs, he can go to any club in the world and he’ll not be expensive.
Bayern, Barca, Madrid, psg, city will all want him. He can be a teams Cb for the next 10 years.
The only chance we have is if he thinks maybe I’ll do 3 years at another club develop further then get the big move. Conte could massively help him develop. But I highly doubt we have any chance

Really hope he doesn’t end up at Chelsea. Unfortunately I feel we have no chance.

You're probably right and that's annoying

We have suffered through the stadium build to make us competitive and yet somehow we still don't seem to be.

I don't know much about this lad but if he is the player we identify I sincerely hope we can compete for his signature.

It's to do with profile.

For instance, Arsenal offered Raphina more money than Barcelona but he still chose to move to Barce due to their prestige. Unfortunately when we're up against these elite clubs we're always going to miss out. We just need to be smarter with identifying targets earlier that will improve the team.

Yep. Regardless of how much we offer a player, a bigger and better side will always be more attractive than us.

The challenge of signing someone like this is the quality of the competition for his signing.

I also don't think we are likely to pay the player or the agent as much as someone like City, Chelsea, PSG etc even if we are happy to pay the initial fee.
