I know the English press are brutal but it’s not Harry’s fault. Plenty of other missed opportunities and plenty of other mistakes. Shit happens and that’s what this was.

If Lloris had saved it he would have been disappointed but blasting it miles over the bar will leave a bitter taste in his mouth for quite some time. Hopefully he’ll bounce back for Spurs and not dwell on it for too long.

Tough tough night fellows. a good performance but not good enough. The ref was not the root cause of the problem, but this game would have been so much better with a solid performance from the man in the middle. Time for Harry to take a few days off.
