Completely agree, but alas we live in hope.If only rejuventating our club were that simple.

We were in for Nagelsmann but that hasn't worked out for whatever reason and Enrique is on the list, as was Tuchel before Munich got him in. So who says we were not aiming higher to begin with?
Please not Marco Silva. Can’t handle another miserable Portuguese pragamatist.
Ange's football requires younger, hungrier players rather than stars. I expect that will mean we'll start shopping in different markets/less obvious players for most positions, save going big for any HG options we need (Raya/Madisson etc.)If it is Ange it will be interesting to see what our transfer policy is as those deemed good enough for Celtic certainly aren’t anywhere near the level required for the EPL.
Fans will unite behind anyone that's winning. You only need to look at Arteta to see that. You certainly have more chance of winning at Celtic than you do at Spurs.Obviously relative given Celtic’s level of success, but they had just lost the league to their bitter rivals for the first time in over a decade and they were biting each other’s heads off (a little like we are now). Ange is appointed and the division grows further (how dare you appoint a J League manager etc etc, sorta like us with “how dare you appoint a celtic manager etc etc), but gets his team playing incredible football and the fanbase united and absolutely adores him now.
Like I said, all relative and the prem is a different animal, but we need someone like that
In your opinion do you think there’s a chance that Fab might eventually come back? I know there’s been talk that he’s still in Levy’s ear and if his ban ends up being reduced is it feasible he could eventually come back into the fold? It just seems we are making an awful hash of the search with nobody wanting to take on the role. We clearly don’t feel it’s necessary for the manager hire which seems very odd. I just wonder if Levy is starting to think that he should forgo the search and one day Fabio could come back and in the interim work more as a consultant.Fabio's people are still in the building I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up the heavy lifting in this regard and the transfer committee is reborn.

Everything I’ve heard about Ange is that he likes to be In charge of player recruitment. It could be a case that we are now holding off because if we get him we won’t even bring in a DoF. Personally I think a DoF should have been hired a long time ago and is essential to finding the right manager but it seems Munn and Levy think differently.
Club preparing the ground through the press here perhaps?
God, i cannot stand their bloated articles.

His past jobs were in even worse leagues.
I don't think he wants a say over exactly who we go for as some of the big managers would do, is more he'll want to be in the room where it's being discussed and suggest who would be best/worst fit for his style. At Celtic he had more say because of his unique knowledge of the Japanese markets and ability to spot a bargain, but that won't matter here.Everything I’ve heard about Ange is that he likes to be In charge of player recruitment. "Calm" as in calmly sipping tea on a beautiful night in the North Atlantic on the deck of the Titanic?I am relatively calm about Ange as manager.
Ange as head of recruitment for a PL team screams: "Best Disaster Movie of 2023!"
"Calm" as in calmly sipping tea on a beautiful night in the North Atlantic on deck of the Titanic?
I mentioned on another page if anyone came with him id like Hatate, creative midfielder, great little player. Kyogo has been linked but hes a bit injury prone and is coming 29 so not sure on him, good scoring record in SPL though.I’m theorising that the Munn Ange axis might be getting Levy a little excited about signing one or two well-priced Japanese players in particular.
Anyone who watches SPL regularly reckon any of their players including their Japanese forwards could hack it down south?
God doesn't get to choose, Levy does...Praying for Enrique at this point, Ange will be a Nuno 2.0, please God dont appoint him.
