Of course it’s a different situation but the idea the Man City owners are “ambitious” makes about as much sense as Paris Hilton being “ambitious” about having the best designer handbag collection in the world or Roman Abramovich being ambitious about having the best super yacht in the port.
How much are we reading into his inclusion or absence from the friendly today?
He plays he stays?
Not included = gone?
I mean, he did. He swanned around Florida and didn’t report to training to try and force a move to a league rivals: that isn’t Spurs through and through. He could have gone years ago and didn't, he stayed and he never downed tools, even when we went shit. He kept on being the best striker/playmaker around..
I‘d wish him well, but if he did go and Bayern didn’t win anything that would be deliciousDon't begrudge Kane the move and can even wish him well if he's going abroad.
II have seen plenty players leave Spurs and the club were in a far worse position than they are now. It won't be the end of the world if Kane leaves.Keep telling yourself it’s the same situation if it makes you feel better.
I know people are saying if he's off to Bayern then we shouldn't include him, but come on...
It's not Modric, Bale or Berbatov.... this guy has been a part of everything enjoyable in the last 10 years, he's spurs through and through.
I'm not saying we start him, but he should get a chance to say goodbye.

For the last few seasons he's been one of the only decent things about spurs.
So I say again, give him a send off that he fully deserves. He is welcome back anytime.
I don't give a shit about the media circus or whatever, give the guy the respect he has earned.
Agree and I haven’t sung his name since tbh. I’ll miss him more from a footballing point of view than being a spurs man.He missed the first couple of games of the season after going on strike and then had 1 league goal in 10 or 11 games before christmas because of his lack of fitness/focus.
Again hes been immense but hes not any more loyal than the next player.
I‘d wish him well, but if he did go and Bayern didn’t win anything that would be delicious
We’ve sold Son and others also?Spurs Official Instagram poster picture has Richy (big, ) Porro and Los Celso (smaller).
Maybe means nothing....
I would actually say it was almost unfortunate he came through when we were building the stadium. If he came though now, with our level of spending since the extra revenues have started being realised, we would have been able to build a better squad around him.
Mistakes were made with the last couple of managers, for sure, but I always got the feeling they were almost to placate Kane’s desire for trophies. If he had come through after the Poch era I think we would have continued along the same path of progressive managers and probably would have actually won some trophies. All ifs and buts, I get that, I’m just glad I got to experience the best spurs player ever in his pomp. However, I am really excited for this next generation that Ange is building.

We are officially going with a 1-1-1 formation? We’ve sold Son and others also?
Surely it has to be for us? Were way short of games as it is.Assuming the Barcelona match is going to be a genuine first team game (I’ve seen some rumours it might not be) then perhaps a number of players will not be used today and will be used in t match instead. That allows more to get 90 minutes.
could then present an easy reason to explain any non-appearance for HK today.
Think it makes sense to play the first team today and the B team vs Barca. That way our first 11 gets a full week of rest before Brentford but the B team gets a proper run-out to keep them sharp too.Assuming the Barcelona match is going to be a genuine first team game (I’ve seen some rumours it might not be) then perhaps a number of players will not be used today and will be used in t match instead. So you wouldn’t cheer off our clubs record EVER goalscorer, come off it.I mean, he did. He swanned around Florida and didn’t report to training to try and force a move to a league rivals: that isn’t Spurs through and through.
Aside from that he’s been a model professional, but he’s thinking about his future, we should be thinking about ours. I respect him, I won’t harbour any resentment, but I’m not cheering him off either.

If it was the end having reached a natural conclusion? Of course. But he’s leaving us because he thinks it’s better elsewhere. Grateful for the work he did but I don’t intend to applaud someone leaving us.So you wouldn’t cheer off our clubs record EVER goalscorer, come off it.
