I'm concerned that if we sell Sanchez we won't get a replacement. One injury to Romero or VDV and we're in deep trouble.

From what I've seen Dier and Tanganga aren't up to it in this system although Ange may feel that Phillips is ready but that's a big ask...

I am 100% sure we won’t sell Sanchez without a replacement lined up

The club should tell him that if he stays he won't get any minutes and asks him to find a new club, otherwise we need to negotiate mutual termination of contract as it would be a waste of squad space
Just don't register him, it's pretty straight forward. Not a nice way to end for him but if you tell him he isn't getting registered it might change his mind about a loan.

Sure he won't fancy a year of not playing at his age. It won't help him get a move at the end of his contract.

Yup, doesn't help his case that he's not HG but we have to take the necessary steps to ensure Ange has the right profile of player he needs this season.

I think that would be, and deservedly so, very bad for the dressing room.

This isn't like any of the others. He hasn't been out on loan, he hasn't been sitting around on the fringes up to now - last season he was pretty consistently a first choice CB. Not a good look to suddenly demand that player goes to the extent of actually not registering them for first team purely for the crime of wanting to fight for their place in the squad.

Dier would be perfect for West Ham and the system they play. He wouldn't need to move house either.

Know a couple of West Ham fans and remember suggesting Dier to them and they've always been 'no thanks' and don't think he improves them and would struggle to get into their team. Noticed he isn't particularly rated by a fans of other clubs.

One of my mates is a Fulham fan and even he turns his nose up at him and they play Ream and Diop 👀

Forest after a 21 year old defender, cant see them being interested in Davinson as well.

Why would push him out the door right as he's started playing well?

I'm much more comfortable with Sanchez as our backup or even second-choice backup rather than overpaying for another unknown quantity. He's been here for like 6 years now, has plenty of Premier League and international experience and just played a good game against Brentford. Maybe he will thrive under the new system like we've already seen from others.

Our priorities should be striker and possible another RW.

POK says Gil is expected back in 2 weeks. Personally I’m still hoping he stays but probably unlikely at this point.

Agree. Shame he got injured because I definitely feel he is a player that would have made an impact on the preseason tour.

However, I find it unlikely that we'll be able to sell/loan him by the end of the transfer window so maybe there is a chance he will still have a future with us.
