Sounds like they will release it and then it will go on Michael Owen’s programme. I’m sure that won’t be biased at all.

It can’t be anything too much more incriminating or else they wouldn’t release it
What better place for the whole thing to be laid bare though. The Liverpool fans won’t be able to claim an agenda against them if it’s one of their tame pundits chatting calmly with Webb about how this was essentially just a communication mix up.

Hopefully Webb makes it clear the red cards were completely correct as per the laws of the game too.

I can understand their fury at the offside, its funny as fuck because a) we benefited, and b) its against Liverpool...but for the life of me I can't get my head around the complaints about the 2 red cards.
People are sent off every fucking week for identical tackles to Jones, and for accumulation like Jota...but they're actually still bleating on convinced that neither of these should be sent off.
It's absolutely mind boggling.

I just don’t like that the PGMOL are allowing Liverpool to direct which way this is going. I know we all said it unlikely that they would want the game replayed, but I am starting to fear the worst.

If that happens, that will definitely be me done with Premier League football, what’s the point?

It won't be replayed mate, relax. There is no precedent whatsoever, and it would constitute football opening the world's biggest can of worms straight into its own pants.

Mate the game isn't being replayed lol...not in a million years. We'd never agree to it

It will open a whole new can of worms, every game that has a suspect decision will be ask to be replayed...the League cannot open that Pandoras Box.

Not a chance. It would leave it open for clubs demanding a replay after every contentious decision, of which there will doubtless be more in the future. Not a can of worms that the football governing bodies would want to open.

It would be absolutely mental to sanction any replays. The first thing they would have to do is determine the statute of limitation, imagine if all the clubs didnt agree on that.

That’s a good point. I dart between it will and won’t during the day. I need to step away from the coverage I think!

I'm just grateful that the introduction of VAR has rid the game of all the officiating controversies and wrong calls it was introduced to address.

Just heard a moronic liverpool fan saying Bissouma went down like a sack of spuds for the red card, christ what planet are they on, he was lucky he didn't break his leg. Hate liverpool more than ever after recent days.

All of this controversy is a shame because the game itself was absolutely great, highly skilled footballers on both teams giving of their very best. The level of football played by both teams was outstanding.
