This is the real test.

arsenal have a collection of good-very good players who function well in their system, but none of them are elite (apart from saliba in time potentially). It was a decent appetiser. However, liverpool look like they’re finding their rhythm again AND have some genuine star quality players who can turn the game on its head out of nowhere.

Liverpool are looking good going forward but exposed at the back. Dominating the midfield again will be where the game is won or lost.

Their front three are very dangerous.

But yeah, I think we can win the midfield battle as we're slightly stronger in that department.

Also can see Son causing VVD and Matip some real problems with his pace.

Obviously they carry a big attacking threat and we'll have to defend very well to limit them but I think we can edge this.

More goals. I'm going 3-2 Spurs.

I hate the games against this lot. Something always goes their way, and no matter how much we dominate, we never seem to win. When was the last time to win at home, 2017?

Time to change that. 3-2, Son x 2 and Richarlison, pidgeon dancing in front of their supporters.

They've had a lot of change in midfield, but Szoboslai looks excellent and so is MacAllister, so they won't be easy to dominate.

But yeah agree with the rest and compared to Arsenal their forwards are so dangerous and clinical. They also press well from the front, so they will be licking their lips at how we try to play out from the back.

They are really suspect in defence though, so if we can break through their press then we can score a few. Especially if we can get the first goal. Unlike Arsenal, when they get the first goal they can drop back and use their forwards to hit on the counter, so we won't get the same opportunities to score equalisers.

The atmosphere/support is going to be incredible for this one. This is a team that we genuinely like.

Salah, Diaz, Darwin are the best forward line in the league unfortunately.
And still have Jota as a backup…

will be a tough game for sure with their gegenpress against our play from the back.

need to be at our very beat to get something out of this one.

Liverpool will be the most clinical front line we have faced so far. Definitely need to be switched on and no mistakes in this one.

As Chairman of the 'Take draw now' Society
I would most definitely.
Home fixture tilts the balance in our favour but not quite enough.
Although I’m very tempted to become a member Mr Chairman, I’m gonna hold out for another shot at glory.

Hate this game almost more than the NLD. Hate these ****s more than anyone else, surrounded by the pricks in Ireland.

We've had no luck against them in recent seasons, case in point last season at Anfield, the ball seems to always fall their way, ever since the CL final in 2019.

We're due some good fortune against them. Let this be the time it does.

Up the fucking Spurs

Need to move the ball much, much quicker than we did at the Emirates if we're going to play out from the back. The key to that is creating passing options in midfield for our CBs to find. A bit worried about their gegenpress style tbh. Their back line are there to be got at though.

Playing Arsenal away is a much bigger test than Liverpool at home.

Liverpool have looked extremely vulnerable defensively and have been let off the hook by multiple teams - I certainly believe we will cause them countless problems and will punish them.

Gonna be tough. Someone needs to sit on trent stopping him playing which will leave Udogie 1v1 vS salah. Big test.
we can dominate them in midfield and biss needs to do to szbo what he did to ode.
Nunez pace up front is so dangerous, vdv really gonna have to be on his game

I get what you're saying and I agree we can definitely hurt them, but it's them punishing us that makes this more difficult than Arsenal defensively. Anything similar to Udogie's back pass or Maddison being robbed in the box and they'll likely score from it.
