The players still have to want to move, and why give up the job security of your 6-7 remaining years to go and play in a country you don't fit in at for two years? They can't force them to go, unless they're going to start openly slaving.
If they pay them enough

They will move

Lack of results on the pitch ->
Less income due to lack of Europe ->
Unhappy players on long contracts that they either can't shift or have to sell on the cheap ->
Lose more money than they make over a significant period of time ->
Financial meltdown

Their whole strategy seems to resting on the shoulders of their youth accademy.

who is THEY? If Chelsea then the players agent would be negligent if he didn’t insist on the whole contract being paid off. That’s the equivalent of a player staying there for a full 8 years. Financial suicide.

Ok there is a possibility a player is so fed up he wants out, but again the agent will earn his crust and even if he asks for 6yrd instead of 8, it will still cripple Chelsea

Why would Poch give his crummy book about spurs to a Chelsea player??

He's gone full David Brent, you never go full David Brent
He is going more Brendan Rodgers I think - he will be talking about writing down a list of player's names in a book who will 'let him down' through the season and have a massive portrait of himself in his hallway.

So you’re probably asking yourself what were Eden Hazards greatest achievement in a glittering career (nope, me neither)

Well turns out the main one is getting an equaliser against Spurs

Quite an instructive little throwaway line from Pochettino at the end there. Enzo and Caicedo are the owner's big money signings and must be played regardless of what physical state they are in - otherwise the owner will get mad.

Owner influencing the team sheet always ends well

In all seriousness before Chelsea pissed the lead away I was wondering if Poch was finally on to something given their wins before the international break as well. But more likely their performances will vary and results will be uneven. They'll finish top half but how far up is difficult to tell.
