Get all our players back and the title is back on 🤣
Title to top 4 to top 10 back to top 4 🎢

Im kidding we won’t have the depth to be in the title race unfortunately but enjoying the ups and downs and hopefully if our injuries ease off we can show some strong from especially from Feb onwards once Son,Sarr & Biss are all back too.

Honestly it's too tight a season to call at the moment. How many teams have been top since it started? 4? Nobody is really standing out for me at the moment.

Anyone still in Europe after Christmas will have a tough time (except City and likely Liverpool).

I still think there are massive question marks over Villa. Were outplayed by Arsenal outside of the first 15 minutes IMO, beat a very poor City side (slightly harsh and biased I know), I was even surprised at how poor they were against us for large parts, scraped a last minute draw away at Bournemouth and lost at Forest where they looked terrible.

At home I think they'll be tough for sure, but away seems a different story. Won't be surprised at all if they lose at Brentford next.

With Afcon/Asia cup/injuries if we can be in and around the top 4 arounf mid feb then we could have a very good end to the season.

Our season hinges on who we can keep from getting injured or banned. Fully fit squad and we're contenders. Hopefully levy sees the potential and invests so we have the depth we need

It’s going to be a very tight title race this season, and I reckon the top 6 teams today all have a strong chance of finishing in the top 4. Afcon will have a big effect on our season going forward, let’s just hope we keep picking up those points one game at a time.

I still think we will get 4th. We have gone through a really tough period and we are only 7 points off 1st.
The way we are playing we deserve at least 4th but yea tottally depends on injuries, how quickly our players come back and how far away or there or there abouts we are come Feb after AFCON and Asia Games.

Not sure how to call it. As of now I think Liverpool are favourites, but I'd not put money on them or anyone else. Arsenal and City are grinding out wins and as others have said, Villa at their worst are still solid defensively. We can talk about how they were pinned back in previous games against other top half teams, but they seem to always find a way.

As for us. We could finish anywhere from 1st to 8th, things can swing significantly in the space of a couple of games.

Only takes a couple of key injuries and or suspensions for any of the teams in the top six to suddenly have a wobble. Look at us, and City. Or Newcastle and their injury crisis.

All still to play for, but I fear our injury list and Afcon will scupper any serious chances we have in the league. Top 4 will be a big ask still imo.

We've been saying it for a while. Give Ange the right reinforcements in January and we will consolidate our position.

As I said in another thread. Pound for pound I think only Liverpool have looked better than us in the head to head games and they have been extremely lucky recently against poorer sides. To have gone through a once-in-a-decade injury crisis and still be only 7 points off top is pretty incredible. I think we'll finish at least third. And we will be in the title race unless Citeh have their usual ridiculous run. ANC and Asia games will be a challenge but it's only 3 -4 games and the quality of the opposition will allow us to take some points from that anyway
