We shouldn't expect the media, including the Press, not to have a real ghoulfest on this. Tomorrow's papers will display the most dramatic pics but I won't be looking at them for sure.

Let's just concentrate on praying and hoping for a recovery for this young man. My thoughts go out to his family too, who must be beside themselves with shock.

Really hope he pulls through, my thoughts are with him and his family. My mate text me to say that don't know if it is true but Defoe tried to give him CPR, anyone else heard this?

I doubt it as the medics were straight on, and he was on his front until they got to him.

When their are fully trained professionals on the field of play and taking him through the tunnel / on his way to hospital. Highly unlikely.

I think it's worrying that we haven't heard anything yet. Just want to hear he is ok.

You know hospitals. They will only say something when they are 100% sure. If the worst has happened they will have to wait for the family to be informed and their wishes respected.

He lived in walthamstow as a kid so a local lad. let's hope he pulls through.

Damn it's been quite a while since the incident now, really thought we would have heard something by now.

This is why there is no news, before anyone else gets to know, the family will have to know first.

Same, if they had got him breathing I think they would have announced by now as the world is waiting for news, less optimistic as time goes on

They may have got him breathing but he may not be stable. No need to get everyone's hopes up to be dashed.

No news is usually good news. However, this is most likely to break that rule.
