I knew he was a Spurs fan, I used to see him up in West Upper all the time. What a twat though; what a cynical and distasteful article. Absolutely fool of a man. Though only thing he's right about is the West Upper idiot, I know exactly who he is and cringe every time the guy opens his mouth. That said, I feel the same about Littlejohn.

I once again point to the fact that Muamba, a relatively well known player to football fans in this country, is somebody we have a relative affinity with due to having been within the same premises as him several times. watched him play several times, and in a form interacted with him several times (I can't be the only one who has had a go at him for a rough challenge on a Spurs player before). Gary Speed's death was the same situation, but exacerbated because once again, it was a hugely shocking and unexpected incident involving a man who, for the same reasons as Muamba but more so because of both his quality and age, was someone we all had a level of affinity with.

Richard Littlejohn, get stuffed.

The most upsetting thing from that article though is to learn that Littlejohn is a Spurs fan. Urgh.

once had the (mis)fortune of seeing Littlejohn host a Spurs evening at WHL when the original host (the brilliant Peter Cook) had pulled out due to illness.

It's like saying "well sorry Mr Ferrari Ayrton Senna cannot drive your car today, but here's Jonny Herbert instead"

actually scrap the above analogy, it's more like saying "Sorry mr Ferrari, Ayrton cannot drive today, here is a single celled amoeba instead...

Was harsh on the Herbster  and edited to highlight the true gulf between the two (Cook and RLJ)

90% of lads play football at school and many take it further to Sunday or Saturday leagues.

If all this raises the profile of cardiomyopathy, then I'm all for it. Hopefully heart screenings will become a normal thing.
