I thought Chadli and Son were getting into good positions. Trippier is such a good crosser of the ball. Rose should take note. I've just been wondering if that's the type of striker we should be looking to sign right about now. A striker with a aerial presence, I think it would give us a different dimension. I think trippier's crossing ability is a lethal weapon but if there's no quality to aim for then there's no point really.

Rose is probably going to end up like Lennon. They do just enough to keep them in the first team, nothing much else on offer. It must be said that he has improved dramatically over the past 2 seasons. I remember covering my eyes everytime he had the ball...or was that Chiriches?

He is the best full back in the League at getting in great positions in the final third.

Shame he has absolutely no quality in that area whatsoever.

It perplexes me how he hasn't improved on this aspect of his game.

Rose is much better at defending than Trippier.
Trippier is a bit better at crossing than Rose.

Agree , Rose is massively underrated by Spurs fans .

On the international front for England for Woy , Danny Rose and Keiran Gibbs tend to play similarly to the point of being interchangeable without changing the overall system .

Even more so when you consider he used to play left mid...

I do think he has improved tremendously over the past two seasons. He is solid and pacey. But can sometimes be a little too aggressive in challenges.

It is very interesting watching Rose and Davies battling it out for that position though!
