Every hour that passes makes him seem more dynamic, doesn't it?

Apparently Baresi asks him for tips on defending.

According to this, Ajax are doing a Levy on Levy. Now upped the price from 40 mil to 50 mil.

And Matt Law just wrote this saying the fee is agreed and just a dispute over the payment timetable backing the spanish journo from a few pages back

So I think the short of it is Nobody Knows!

(Except those probably working on the deal)

Really appreciate your input in this thread mate, great to hear a perspective from the other side...but can you explain your second sentence here?

Also ignore the numpty who spammed your post.
sorry just saw it for the second time, auto correct on the phone...

If this story is true, it will be the end of the good relationship between Ajax and Spurs.

But i think (and hope) its bs

Watching a quick vid he goes to ground very quickly which is worrying. Granted he won pretty much every tackle but he's not from the Ledley school of tackling

In YouTube videos, there's not much they can show for defenders so last ditch tackles and booming sliding tackles are the norm. He's also quite young so the positional sense will come with games and coaching, if he's got the tools to get out of lapses in concentration, all the better

I noticed that.

Stark contrast to De Ligt, who seemingly always stays on his feet.

However, Poch managed to coach it out of Danny Rose so I see no reason why he can't do the same with this guy.

This is true. For how many slide tackles we see, we don't get to see how many times he stays on his feet while winning the ball.

We wouldnt tell a player to miss training, we dont operate like that. If he has decided to do that then it's because HE wanted to.

Tom Collamosse: The defender would become Spurs' first signing of the summer and could even arrive in England later today.

Tottenham may eventually pay close to £40m for the 21-year-old Colombia international, which would make him comfortably their record signing. The initial payment Ajax were seeking was thought to be about £27m.

The Sanchez deal is thought to have been delayed by debate over the exact structure of the payments but these are now said to have been resolved.
