Playing devils advocate I do wonder how untouchable he'll feel if he doesn't get top 4 this year and next. Football is fickle and even when we were on a high and there was talk of him being our Ferguson I wasn't buying it. Longevity at the helm is very rare in the PL and it only takes a few iffy seasons and huge pressure of getting CL before fans and more importantly Levy start getting twitchy.

He's magic you know when things are great but when not its the players fault. He's very very good but not perfect. He deserved a better squad though in the summer after the excellent job he's done. He and we really do need to win something though or it's been a failure in my opinion.

I think he's got plenty in the bank personally, Levy knows how hard it is to find a manager capable of getting us in the CL with our resources, and I very much doubt he'll fire the bloke who's managed it in 2 out of his first 3 seasons anytime soon.

If we got taken over and suddenly Poch has 300m to spend it would destroy my support of the club and ruin football for me. I would absolutely hate becoming a soulless vacuous club and winning a title because we suddenly could buy it. Would rather win it once the right way than ten times doing it the nonsense way them two clubs are and have.

I agree but sadly I think it's the only way we will win the thing.

We can win a couple of cups with levy though.

We missed our chance last two years which means we've now got to watch those clubs buy it. City this year, Utd next then probably Chelsea again. At some point an opportunity will arise though like it did for Liverpool then Leicester and Us.
If we have to buy it to win it though then I'll just take an FA Cup or two.

But what happens if in 10 years time we still haven't won anything would you still feel the same.
