Caught a snippet of something on the Danish radio about Eriksen the other day - don't know if it relates to the interview mentioned further up. Basically the consensus among those who know him is that he is happy, enjoying his football, credits Poch for more consistency and looking to stay with us in the hope for trophies - and keep some stability in his family life with wife being pregnant. Is not interested in money so wouldn't leave for a bigger pay day though Barca calling would be interesting if he feels our development stagnates.

That is just according to form though. It can go down as quick as it went up. His base stats in the game are lower than this usually.

Are people actually using his player thread to discuss his FIFA rating? We have an entire computer games sub forum for this stuff! Surely this thread should be used for talking about stuff which actually has anything to do with Eriksen, like how we badly missed him today.

Yeah we’re short and have been for a while. It’s like we’re the polar opposite of the gooners who seem to collect these type of players and forget everything else.
It’s all about balance and the balance isn’t quite right through the squad as a whole. We’re quite fortunate that Eriksen has been injury free for a long time.

I had hopes that Lamela would take on this role. He has great vision, and can certainly pick a pass - but, he is too slow of thought too many times.
He obviously is not the only one with that issue - but without Eriksen, we really lack the straw that stirs the drink in the attacking end. Critical buy this summer, unless Edwards can show something at Norwich.

Supposedly we're in talks with him over a new deal, if his agent hasn't added a significant amount to his demands after our last 2 games, Christian should get a new agent.
