We missed him against Southampton but he would have been as poor as the rest of them against Newport cos the pitch was so bad.

Moura will bring the pace we are crying out for. He's also good on the ball. He'll give us another option other than Son that can take his man off the dribble. But creativity? No way. Anybody that's watched him play in a big match for PSG the last few years will tell you the same thing. He's brainless. He lacks any kind of football IQ whatsoever. Creativity isn't his strong suit.

Just goes to show how difficult it is to obtain these players, there aren't many playmakers on the market who can play as a hybrid Np10 and Regista which is probably one of the reasons why Coutinho was so damn expensive.

More deep lying playmaker who can play in a 2 or a 3, Eriksen has been deployed deeper at times to cover this position.

Yeah I always thought of the regista more of a DLP, shielding the defence behind the midfield.

Modric, Iniesta and Pirlo, Xabi Alonso have all been described as registas and have either played in a 2 or a 3 further up the pitch than a protector. I believe the name regista comes from the players who 'register'/start attacks which doesn't necessarily mean that they're the deepest midfielder on their teams.

I was just responding to someone who said the hoped Moura would be an alternative to Eriksen. They are not remotely similar.

For the record, Fekir can play 10, AM and striker. Just saying.
