He might just get away with it despite being suspended. He's already said sorry to the family and they've accepted it so he might keep his job at the end of all this.
Anyone else expecting something else to come out now though?

He’s been interviewed on Sky news. He is getting pelters from the woman interviewing him. Definitely not going easy on him as you may expect being the ‘sky family’.

That Sky news interview was one of the most awkward things I've seen.

Yep. Not quite the free flowing chat that he gives on MNF, so many pauses and so much uncertainty in what he’s saying.

Him: ‘I’m mostly devastated that it involved a young girl’

Presenter: ‘doesn’t matter how old the person is, you shouldn’t spit at anyone’

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFF

I just cannot see him staying...the suspension tonight is surely a prelude to a sacking. Sky cannot be seen in any way to condone or forgive such a terrible reaction which is so heavily penalised within the game itself. I'll be most surprised if he is allowed to continue...

Have you ever watched Jamie Redknapp and Tim Sherwood trying to pass intelligent comment?
Or when Matthew Syed embarrassed Tony Cascarino that time about Abramovich. That was awkward for Cascarino, but amusing for the rest of us. This was far from amusing.

Honestly think he must have a serious problem. This is a very bizarre thing to do. Would not even enter most normal people’s minds to spit in a moving car at a young girl.
