Just seen a video of him coming into London and journos bombarding him with questions. He says he didn't see the girl as she was leant back. I suppose he could say that but I actually believe him. Still shouldn't have spat but I think the headlines of 'SPAT AT GIRL" are a bit wide of the mark.

Wonder what the reaction would be if this was a politician?

If Corbyn did this, the world would go into melt down.

Well, yeah, because politicians represent their party members and the general public. Not quite the same as a football pundit working for a private company.

I think a mention for the TWAT that thought shouting the match score out his car window (again and again), while filming on his mobile, while driving his 14 year old daughter was a funny thing to do.

Then he gets indignant about the damage suffered by his daughter. What a dick!

He is a dick and I don't understand why people do shit like that, I certainly wouldn't ever do it, but having your daughter spat on by a moron isn't on and is bang out of order.

It’s not exactly the same but the guy still represents a mega organisation and is a role model to many, so he has to be held accountable for his actions given he is heavily in the public eye. The same way ploitians and other figures who are ‘famous’ should be too.

I'm inclined to agree with you, but when you spend your professional life picking other people apart and hanging them out to dry in public, there's a certain irony in watching those pidgeons come home to roost.

I will add to the above, the guy filming is a complete dick too. You can literally hear the sound of ‘ka-ching’ and the penny dropping on home much money he’s going to get from it all, in his voice.

Unless I'm missing something won't this guy get done for dangerous driving? Surely filming a conversation on a phone whilst driving is an offence?

There's not many players who have scored more against his own team than for them, and even retired he continues to score them own goals

Although he should, just devils advocate here. Prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he used his phone. Prove there wasn't someone in the back seat that leant over and filmed it.

You may laugh but I've heard of more terrible excuses than that get someone off at court.
