Yes. When he about to come on, I feel he showed so much positivity in his body language and couldn't wait to show how much he can contribute, which he did. Rally happy to see.

I've always said I'd love him to come good, but had my massive doubts it would ever happen. He's just not got enough technical ability. Thats been done to death in this thread. If he can be a positive influence on the season then great.

Would love for him to have a good run of form so we can get a decent fee for him in the January window. I'm not going to ignore 2 years of terrible play because of 3 decent games. He's still a player we need to move on from.

Have to agree with this, whilst he is here, I love that he's putting the effort in and offering something different but ultimately if he managed to play well and we could get a decent fee in Jan or the Summer then everybody wins.

another good game. and btw this is why Poch rates him - he's a team player that will do whatever is asked of him
Thought he was non existent in the second half, he's just not good enough for what we want to do.

He's been so bad for the last 2 years that expectations have been drastically altered. He was average at best. Final ball was still no where to be found.

yeah everyone says that. yet here he was today when we needed him happily switching roles and putting in a shift.

This is strange but I genuinely like him now :cautious::whistle: he’s a lot better and just works his ass off, he actually has added value this season

We are fortunate to have Lamela, Lucus and now Sissoko step up this season. I hope Aurier should be the next one to step up

Sissoko is our fifth choice central midfielder and our sixth choice attacking midfielder. That means that for five positions, he is our tenth choice player. And thank god he is, because our injury problems in those areas have been horrible this season, disproportionately so.

Why would we sell him now? He's really starting to play well and is a great SQUAD option for us. Someone happy enough to come in and out of the team and work his ass off no matter what.

First class attitude knowing he won't be first choice when everyone is fit.

That's fucking invaluable imo.

Excellent squad player for us. Started the last 4 games.. He realises his limitations and yes he has poor quality on the ball generally but he is still a decent player and he works hard.

Anyone saying we need to sell in January needs their head tested. It seems they didn't see the memo with all our injured CMs. Yet people advocate selling one of our only fit CM's half way through the season? lmao.

When he was playing well a few games ago I thought to myself he usually puts in 1-3 goodish performance per season but to be fair this is a nice run of games he’s putting together so great to see a bit of consistency.

I still don’t think he’s smashing it as he’s still doing some usual Sissoko type of stuff but credit where it’s due he’s not hindering us.

We don't have a player that has the speed and strength that Sissoko does. He works hard, is willing to do whatever is asked and offers some brute force in a squad of mostly smaller, technical players, why would we sell him even if he's not a first choice player?

Ultimately he is a great squad player. As said has never moaned but when all fit he is 6th choice AM and 5th CM. But we have needed him a lot the last couple seasons. What I really noticed was the last 10 minutes he was still running his socks off with a couple of those lung busting runs that were great to relieve the pressure. I still have my doubts if he is us to top 6 or CL games but against lesser opponents he is a very handy squad player and I’d actually keep him. Llorente and nkoudou are the obvious two to replace.

Yep, I'd sell Nkoudou, Janssen, LLorente and now Wanyama before considering selling Sissoko although I think in the summer we will re-evaluate.

All this nonsense about not moaning

He's a ridiculously technically limited footballer who is earning God knows how much per week. He must wake up every day and thank his God.
