The only thing that concerns me after that game is our front line. I really hope we can bring someone in this window. Aside from that it is what it is, sometimes you have to win ugly. At least we have some time before Utd.

Am I the only one that actually appreciates our style of play after 4-5 years of dour shite? Ange himself has said his players will make mistakes but those mistakes are on him not the players? Most of the mistakes I seen, yes players did make some but that’s what happens when a manager gives players freedom. We are half a season into a new regime…. Don’t slaughter players after half a season.

Would be handy if we got a lower Championship/League 1 side at home again in the next round to minimise the January work load, but being in the draw is the main thing.

Worst performance of Ange's reign, but we managed to keep a clean sheet. Put that one in the bin, forget about it and move on.

A bit of composure and we'd have scored five or six today. Just kept snatching at things in the final third.

Did the ref give us a single 50/50 decision all night?

Every one I saw he gave to Burnley.
Too many 50/50s are given as fouls when the player losing out gives up trying. It's constant across the game.

Positives from Royal, Davies. Clean sheet important.

Good minutes, assuming unscathed, for Bentancur.

Nice to see Donley and Scarlett getting involved

Really fucking grates.

He’s just come back from 11 months out ffs🤣
He’s hardly going to be sharp as a needle

His passing was sharp early on, had one nice dribble outside our box, but understandably had no acceleration and was poor defending, personally I think he won't be good enough long term but that doesn't stop the same old posters spouting the same boring old shite.

Gil has 1 traffic cone in front of him. He will run at the still traffic cone and hit the ball against that traffic cone and lose the ball

And great win and on to the next round by the way....

Maddison should help with that as he is usually clinical and gets into the right places but yeah going forward we need a winger who can be more efficient

Was mediocre but we’re through and that’s all that matters. Thought Emerson was brilliant and Davies very good beside him. When people were asking “why them and not the kids”, this is why.
