Davies and Royal has my respect. These guys are playing out of position, in key areas and doing it so well.

COYS!!!
Absolutely mate

Real shout out to Emerson who we all know isn't going to be here long term but fuck me he has proved me and alot of other people wrong. Been so much better than I thought he could be in that role, if we achieve anything this season he has played a huge role.

And Davies, lad who has been here 10 years and has got game time under every manager, what a signing he has been for us. Squads that have any hope of achieving anything need pros like him.

I did see Davies holding his hamstring for a split second after a tackle. But nobody mentioned it and he went on like normal after.

You can add Fulham in the League Cup and Luton away.

Good call, we've had some rough games but pleased with the progress we've made so far. Let's hope we can get some players in this month.

Unfortunate for Davies if true about the hammie but opens the door for Micky to come back in, as I couldn't see the two of them playing together being both lefties.

Well the positives…

we won.
Royal and Davies were good (and by Utd game vdv will be closer to ready and hopefully we’ll have one more in)
80 good minutes for Bentancur!
Absolute screamer from Porro.

Other than that, it was all just a bit off, a bit sloppy and a bit leggy. We have some time now until Utd and just happy to get through.

Very low block so needed to take the chances early to open the game . was going to take a worldy to win this one . Emerson and Davies were v good , Porro decent and Johnson ok , the rest get 5/10s .

The Brighton, West Ham and Wolves performances certainly feature higher on the list of poor performances this season.
Brighton was pretty poor defensively yes and we were fairly impotent for most of the game but Brighton lightyears better than Burnley. West Ham, not sure we were as poor against a better team than Burnley again. Wolves - maybe similarly poor, but what's worse creating few chances and taking one or creating plenty and being poor in the completion of them.

Opinions really, but let's agree that it wasn't a classic and it was good to get through it, without another injury, with a clean sheet and with important minutes for players. Out of the way and we can focus on getting healthier for Man Utd.
