Everton dont deserve that....their football really is poor
It’s effective at times to be fair. Not pretty on the eye but they deserved a draw imo, we never felt comfortable today for much of the game.

Dyche teams never easy to play against.

A bit lucky with their 2nd goal, Romero headed into the path of Braithwait.

Oh well we are still building this season although those points lost could be crucial in our quest for 4th against Villa.

Feels like a loss. Such poor control. Skipp, Gil and Kulusevski should have given us energy but couldn't hold the ball. Gutted

Have to question the leaders out on the pitch tbh. Romero and Maddison did nothing to calm us down and help us get control of the game.
I think control was lost once Maddison went off.

Struggled with their set pieces all game so it was such a stupid free kick to give away by kulusevski.

Gotta score 3 to win every game at the moment. We look like conceding everytime the opponents attack

All three games were we have brought Dragusin on to see out the game and reverted to the 3 at the back we have looked dodgy at the end, it’s losing the extra man in midfield but we still try and play out with the same patterns.

Never convinced by the tactic of swapping a midfielder for a 3rd centre half. Think it invites pressure and reduces our attacking options. But that's just my onion.
We've done it late now in three games in a row and have given away a clear cut chance in everyone. All from crosses too.

Wasn’t great from Vic today I’m afraid, great shot keeper but there’s a question mark about him dominating the box. He’s too rooted to that goal line.

I thought we made way too many changes and we looked too disjointed in the last ten minutes.

We were comfortbale with just the Kulu/Sarr changes

A young, developing team that has shown its naivety in the last two matches and its reliance on Maddison. Naturally, progress is not going to be smooth and we as fans will have to be patient this season.

Players coming back but it’s taking time to get some rhythm going. Subs were puzzling. Seemed to upset what control we had. Surprisingly negative from Ange. Our games are great for the neutral but we’re not quite entertaining our own fans right now.

Thrown away the league title today.

Numerous 5 yards passes to an Everton player and sitting on a lead instead of being aggressive off the ball on the ball.
We are still lacking that mental fortitude.

Need to have midfielders that can control a difficult game.
I think we have them in Bentancur, Madders, Sarr, Bissouma etc... but our midfield is not 100% sharp at the moment... coming back from long injuries and AFCON etc....

It's clear to see that our rhythm and control is not the best right now. We show it in glimpses.

It will return... no doubt. And still we collect points.

Absolutely nothing. Needs upgrading in summer.
Interesting take. I said this at the start of the season that he shouldn’t be a starter for us long term.

He has had some fantastic games for us this season but his level is a bit hit and miss.

We are proper ropey at closing games out. Always frantic late in games.

Might as well just keep attacking.
