Regarding your last sentence I never said otherwise.

Just people remarking its good that he's out....its a plus, thats it.

Unless nobody should remark on any opposition team news....

I mean just because its mentioned doesnt mean we shouldnt be beating them regardless. Not sure where youre getting that from.
It's just the way it comes across. I could understand if it was de Bruyne for City but seems a bit small to be happy for a bottom half team to have a player out. You did say it matters as well to be fair hence my last sentence before.

Its just a positive regarding their team news, dont think anyone is dancing in the streets lol.

I’m sure Ange won’t be giving away any secrets but SpursPlay is showing a live training session this morning:

Both Destiny and Pedro out of tomorrow's game. Hopeful Destiny will only be out for tomorrow, but Pedro picked but a strain in training and will probably be out for a couple weeks.

Forster has a fractured foot and is out for a couple months.

Good job we have the 2 week break after Wolves so hopefully both back before Palace on the 2nd but sounds like Porro could be touch and go.

Big losses, they’re massive to how we play and both out at the same time is a pain, hopefully davies and emerson can get us through.

I think Emerson and Davies will fill in well. They equipped themselves way better than expected when forced to be a CB pairing. Granted they won’t be close to being as offensive but they will be solid defensively and are comfortable enough on the ball when inverting. Also think they will give us an extra edge at set pieces.

Actually think Udogie is the bigger loss (thankfully back for Palace)

Davies has been great when called upon, but that was at CB.

At full back, he's steady but lacks that pace and power. Wolves will undoutedly target Davies with Neto.

I really rate Emerson and Porro has looked a bit jaded recently. He could of done with a rest after Brentford imo, going to Everton a few days later was the time to do it.

Always more likekly to pick up muscle injuries when fatigued.

Hopefully both back for Palace though.

Davies and Emerson is adequate cover for one, possibly two games for Porro (two week break thanks to the league cup final). We had issues earlier in the season because our back up CBs were fullbacks and couldn't cover the space like Cuti and VDV can.

As long as these aren't long term and a couple games at most, I'm not upset over it.

Tell you what though, we might lose some attacking thrust but I expect us to be more solid at the back.

Porro has improved throughout the season and is a miss but I have no problems with Emerson, he'll be fine.

Davies for Udogie is an interesting one as Udogie has not been at his best in the last few games but his pace is vital defensively. I'm sure Davies will be fine with VDV behind him.

Other than that there is only 2 positions up for grabs, RW (Deki, Werner or Johnson) and the 8 (Sarr or Bentancur).

Bissouma and Son back in.

I'd go Kulusevski and Bentancur, Sarr deserves his place but I want to see a midfield of Bissouma Bentancur and Maddison.
