I think you may need to look at the goals again to see Dier's culpability for the first goal followed by him just watching Lemina for the second.
I can agree about the second but a stretch to say he’s culpable for the first.

You are over-optimistic if you expected us to win the league.
We had just lost Kane.
We are over-performing already. All the new recruits have done well.
We lost Madders today and no one can do his role in this team at PL level. Ange was unlikely to solve that in a week.
Play Lo Celso. He might not be as good as Maddison but he’s first choice(when fit) for Argentina in that position. He looked good when he came on. If he started the game instead of Hojbjerg we might have carved out and converted a few more chances than we did in the first half.

It wasn’t Dier or the rest of the defense’s fault we lost today. We lost because we were pedestrian and lack luster in attack. After we scored we never looked like we would score a second.
Sorry but it’s an easy fallback to scapegoat Dier for todays loss.
Sorry have to disagree though. We were getting the 3 points if we could hold on for just that 6 freaking minutes. Not like we were holding on to a 0-0 draw. We then proceed to lose it because of some unnecessary ball from Dier hoofed up to a stupid throw in for the equaliser and some atrocious lazy defending from our defenders and Hojbjerg for them to score the winner.

Fine margins, but like the game against chelscum, we really could have done much better to prevent those scenarios. The outcome came back to bite us really painful. The lapse of concentration from the players in these two games were astounding. I hope the talk of title-contenders are not doing their heads in. And Big Ange has to address and re-calibrate that concentration to bring them back to the ground.

No such thing as an easy game in the PL. Just look at the Barcodes today. Wolves didn’t create much. But snatched it at the end. Onwards

Hojbergs ball that gave away free kick for second was awful. He panicked. Dier Was lethargic for the ball that came in. bottom line is that the old guard aren’t up to standard. Holjbergs is ok as a squad player and can offer something in certain games late on same with Davies. But dier is not good enough.

Davies was motm, and is 'not up to standard'?

I think we will. I think Ange has reasons not to; possibly due to match fitness. I dont think PEH was the reason we lost. He is a solid average PL CM. He is consistent and dependable with leadership qualities, and had played well. Whereas GLC hasn't played much so he is not dependable.

There are times to slow it right down, make it stop start, and see out the game for at least a point. Not playing high risk passes straight after winning a free kick. Same with goal kicks. Just slow it down boys, we won’t think any less of you.
Some will though. Most people were saying they just want to be entertained and not care about the score apparently 😂

Unnecessarily puts the ball out for a throw by trying to play the ball down the line to Kulu. They score seconds later.

Playing a pass like that in injury time when we are a goal up entitles him to plenty of blame in my opinion.

Thing is, altho it was a high risk pass it wasn’t going to give us an advantage to start an attack, it was to somebody standing a few yards away with his back to their goal, who wasn’t expecting it, so why in hell do it?

He didn't unnecessarily put the ball out of play, he was trying to hit Kulusevski who could have been more helpful.

City do, but they are the only ones. Many on here cannot grasp the concept of having to use the squad .
Yes City have 5 CBS; Diaz, Akanji, Ake, Gvadoil(?) and Stones. The thing is though he constantly rotates them so they always match sharp. Even if we signed a couple of decent CBs I’m not sure Ange will rotate them enough.
To be honest I’m a bit disappointed at how little he rotates players and especially how late he makes substitutions. If players don’t get regular game time it’s unfair to expect them to perform at their peak level when they are thrown in at short notice. They need game time to stay sharp. This is something that Pep understands and why he constantly rotates his squad. It’s also why they’re fitter than all the other teams in the last quarter of the season.

2 more weeks training he could be ready to start and play at least 60 mins. I sure hope so as he's the only one who can play the Bissouma role.
I have no idea how u come to that conclusion in terms of his match-readiness. I want him to play asap as well given his pre injury performances. However it’s not worth rushing him ahead of schedule. We are already better than expected in the league so we can afford to drop more points. We need to focus on what we could do. For me that is to find a new playmaker whoever that could be. Otherwise we are wasting son.

Come to what conclusion? I said with 2 more weeks he 'could' be ready
