He didn't unnecessarily put the ball out of play, he was trying to hit Kulusevski who could have been more helpful.
I know what he was trying to do. In my opinion it was unnecessary to attempt it while we were clinging on by the skin of our teeth in injury time.

Thankfully we get Udogie back, cause Royal was our worst player on the pitch. Terrible

Ange had to take Bissouma off but would have left Sarr on instead of Hojbjerg.

Still don’t understand why we were dicking around with the ball in the lead up to the winner. Same old shit.

Thought Davies and Porro were our best. Rest were average, excluding Vic.

Wasn’t expecting a result today but am livid in the manner we lost that.
Can't argue with any of that. I gave a wry smile when he feathered the winner but inside I was boiling.

We had our best creator and passer of a ball missing and three of our defenders (arguably the best left back and central defenders in the PL).

Pep bemoans missing De Bruyne, and they are certainly not at their best without him, how would any team cope without four of their starting eleven?

City may cope, but the other so called top four or five?

Looking "off the pace" when you play Ange's style of football with Dier, Emerson and Davies cannot be the same as with Romero, Micky and Udogie.

Patience needed and a couple of more transfer windows me thinks.

This is not a disaster under any circumstances and learning curve for the newer players, including Romero and Udogie one would hope.
Before you rubbished my opinions did you actually read what I posted? Most of what I said related to the huge impact of the players we have lost. The rest was about us having to develop and learn lessons which appears to be what you are also saying.

Has a season ever fallen apart so quickly- all in one game v Chelsea. We are back to going nowhere, as we saw today.
Yes bad luck with injuries (as well as the suspensions which aren't bad luck) but it doesn't really matter what the reason is, Spurs are condemned to mediocrity.
F*cking hell! Do you want a gun to blast your brains out while you’re at it!

we’re on 26 points through 12 games it’s hardly terrible. 1 transfer window was never going to be enough to build a squad ready to challenge for titles if we got injuries. It happened and we’re going to miss Maddison and VDV but we can still win games with this team!

People need to get a grip lol It’s like watching a bunch of crack heads with split personalities in here! A week ago we were amazing and now we’re the worst thing ever!!

Hojbergs ball that gave away free kick for second was awful. He panicked. Dier Was lethargic for the ball that came in. bottom line is that the old guard aren’t up to standard. Holjbergs is ok as a squad player and can offer something in certain games late on same with Davies. But dier is not good enough.
I think Hojbjerg is culpable for both goals. He let both goal scorers run past him without tracking them. 3 points lost because of that. Others haven’t helped but I thought he was the one most at fault.

This desperate analysis to attribute fault to one of the out of favour players is as tiresome as the attempt to blame Levy for anything and everything. Analyse any goal for any team and you will find someone to blame if you look hard enough to suit an agenda.

Winning away at the likes of Wolves is never about playing champagne football but by winning the battles, they are a team that are relentless in their press and with Neto ( who was missing ) they have guile to open teams up . Unfortunately on Saturday we showed that fight for about 5 mins. The fans are concerned because we’ve seen that game too many times over the past 5 years . Yes we had players out but it wasn’t a difficult 5 minutes to navigate at the end of that game with a little bit of nous.

I don't know. We had played with 9 vs 11 men for 45+ minutes on Monday night and then the same players had to go again for the early Saturday kick-off. Not long to recover both physically and mentally.

I reckon this was partially responsible for the display we saw.
