Only the fail but still.

Still no word on a new contract for Ron...

Also a story on their that Bale won't be an automatic starter.

How stupid are Real? The dressing room is already unsettled by the idea of Bale arriving...so they fund part of the Bale move by selling one of the few universally popular players at the club. Think their back-room antics may well be more exciting than the football this year!:D

Cristiano Ronaldo: "I am very upset about Özil's departure. It's bad news for me. He knew my movements in front of goal better than anyone."....... Wonder what he's actually said about Bales arrival?!

I'm loking forward to singing songs about how he looks like a frog, seeing as the goons loved their "Bale monkey song" so much

Reports in Spain that his father who acts as his unofficial agent
has been agitating for some time for a substantial rise in his wages.
from £3million to £6million a year.
The arrival of Bale, the rise of Isco and the ever rising stock of Modric
have led him to conclude that he was better off at Arsenal.
Real players are not happy, Ramos, Arbeloa and Ronaldo in particular.
Apparently hoping that Man. Utd would come calling so by inference
Arsenal were second choice.

Don't know whether Spanish ITK is any better than UK ITK.
No reason why it should be.

Not ITK. Ballague said it too. Not much more reliable mind.

Ozil's an amazing player. However, he's a player who plays a position where Arsenal were already their strongest to start with. I'd be more afraid of them had they signed a world class DMF or CB than Ozil. They don't struggle to score goals so he's not going to change their fortunes for the better drastically.

Not sure how to type that without it sounding like a dig, but it isn't, just highlighting that Arsenal still have areas to improve before they can think of pushing forward significantly.

cant believe people are undermining ozil's ability.hes world class, better than anyone we've sign, and is going to improve arse drastically. ozil was never coming to us and i feel our fans are just feeling the sourness of grapes. manu last season had absolutely jarring problems all across the pitch except the striking department. they had bigger problems but decided to spend 20m on another striker. not MC, not DC. fans and neutrals were slating SAF big time but guess what. RVP won them the league.

not until we make it to the cl regularly we will never be able to sign players like this. and just because we are gutted, doesnt mean we should live in denial.

Can't believe there's a thread dedicated to this and people are still going on about, despite there already being an Arsenal thread.

If this thread manages to reach 100 pages does that mean we might sign him? It's only a matter of time before Wenger decides to flog him to a rival anyway. :p

we need to worry about ourselves - not the opposition. Yeah good player and all that but how relevant is it to us now?

Not the ideal "entrance" for Bale though - as his arrival basically squeezed out one of the most popular players at the club (and the main "feeder" for Ronaldo), namely Ozil.
Ronaldo for sure is not happy about this, and I am sure he will make some one feel that in one way or the other.
Ozil is a world class player and a great purchase buy Arsenal. Amazing that ManU were not after him though! Moyes really failed miserably in the transfer window.

I'm just a little bit gutted by this transfer..this guy oozes class and seeing him go to the Arse just ain't right. Can't believe Madrid would sell him. I don't agree with the people saying he failed to fight for his place, as by all accounts Arsenal have doubled his wages after Madrid refused to. Also can't believe Man United weren't in for him. Just a strange transfer all round.

2 seasons ago, he scum just pipped us to 4th with RVP, who is supposed to be one of the best strikers in the world in their team.

They have made one signing, and IMHO, it is just papering over the cracks. They needed to do more than one stellar signing. Yes a good signing, but not going to escalate them much.

We are still in a better position to them with regard our squad.

Arsenal have put all their eggs in one basket. One injury away from disaster.
