Thought it would be worth noting that as Bayern have just drawn 0-0 tonight, our record of 11 consecutive wins at the start of a top flight season remains intact. Only just though, Bayern had an 89th minute goal disallowed!

I thought Chelsea were going to do it a few seasons ago. Its a record we should be proud of. No matter what era, winning 11 games in a row is a fantastic achievement and you just have to look st all the great teams around Europe over the last 54 years who have failed to do it! It's also worth noting that many of the leagues in Europe are far less competitive than ours!
