Sheffield United are going for promotion, so of course they'd rotate if they could afford to? We need to keep players fresh and the odd rotation has to be done to keep everyone sharp.
Agree, that's why I think we have to give a chance to Porro and Danjuma, these players should be good enough against a Championship side but sometimes it comes down to desire.

Tanganga on the left? No thank you. Would rather Davies or Lenglet personally with one being rested.
Poor old Tanganga. I feel he needs a move for his career. Came up through the ranks etc.

Brutal truth however, is he is not good enough and wouldn't bother me if he never donned a Spurs shirt again.

If we play Tanganga (which I am happy to do) then it should be on the right. I just don't think he suits playing on the left.

Forster

Tanganga Dier Davies

Porro Skipp Sarr Perisic

Lucas Richy Danjuma

Subs : Whiteman, Sanchez, Romero, Royal, Højberg, Devine, Deki, Kane

Not full strength, but strong enough to get the job done. If Stellini is to be believed, Son needs some rest so leave him at home because I’d start him at the weekend. Start Sanchez or Tanganga, but not both

Forster
Romero dier lenglet
Porro sarr skipp perisic
Danjuma richy son
This might be the one for me. Just want to see Richarlison as a striker and not on the wing to see how he goes.

Forster; Porro, Romero, Dier, Lenglet, Perisic; Sarr, Skipp; Son, Kane, Richarlison

Subs: Austin, Højbjerg, Danjuma, Kulusevski, Moura, Royal, Davies, Sánchez, Devine

Got to build a cushion first half so we can rest and rotate.

Total change and Sheff sends us out, this is why we never won trophies last decade.
Disagree we have played strong team continuously and suffered burnt out at this point of the season

I would rotate 4 players, 5 max

I would actually play Lenglet at CCB this game to get him more comfortable in this position ahead of the Milan game where Dier is suspended.

I assume he will pick Lenglet as a central option over Sanchez.

Maybe interchange Skipp and Sarr - wasn't paying too much attention to that. I'm pretty adamant on that front 3with Sarr and Porro also coming in for starts. I have to say I'll be disappointed if even one of them doesn't get the start because I feel that this match would be good rotation and an ideal moment for this kind of lineup.

I'm fine if Romero plays instead of Sanchez as I would feel more confident with that, but I do want to rest Romero and give another CB some game time. And if we do that, I sadly don't think Tanganga can be trusted especially with Porro. I've always liked Davinson more than most here because he can put in solid performances. I think his risk aversion would be good for this match.

Stop experimenting with huge squad rotation when we've got a good chance of advancing further in this competition FFS!

Barely anyone is making huge changes. Most people are making 3-4 changes maximum and bringing in top quality players like Porro, Danjuma and Son. You’re whining over nothing

Do you lot not remember Boro away last season? Sheffield United is a competitive side.. There’s no reason we should drop Kane for this unless he’s not fit.

With the clubs left in the competition, this is arguably Spurs best chance of winning silverware in a long time. I’d be going full strength for this (barring maybe rotating the wingbacks). We can retire important players like Kane early once we take control of the match. This match will be more important in the scope of our season than Wolves this weekend imo.

Son is training alone and carrying an extra injury. No point starting him.

Moura, Richie danjuma is more than enough to get the job done

I'll be worried about their long term viability at the club if Danjuma and Porro don't get starts. Kane surely needs a rest but have a feeling he'll start to try and put the game to bed early.

But what is the point of having brazils number 9… to rotate with Kane if we don’t rotate him with Kane?
