Still Remember the feeling I had when we won that as a 14 year old, celebrated like we had just won the league or the CL. Can't believe it's been this long since we last had the feeling, especially with the tems we've had throughout the years.

Here's hoping Conte brings that feeling back and the team bring that feeling back.

Yep, same for 12 year old me. I actually remember saying to my dad something along the lines of "that's the first of many, I hope".

14 years on, and nothing ?

Watched this and still imagine what could've been if someone morphed Zokora and Huddlestone together!

Didnt realise aswell how good Jenas was in this game.

Just remember the moment Zokora burst through the middle of the pitch to go on one and one with Cech...and we all sat down and got our phones out to play snake.

Its mental that in 35 years of being a Spurs fan, I've only seen us win 3 trophies, each approx a decade apart.

One of my many memories of being there on the day was that in the second half of extra time, referee Mark Halsey added 3’ 45” of additional time - at least that’s what I timed it at. That would be the equivalent of adding 22 minutes to a 90 minute game.

May have to set the timer again to see if I that was the case or whether it just seemed like it.

Yep well beyond the 3 extra minutes and Chelsea still crowded round and moaned at him when he did blow the whistle.
Watched it last night and it seemed like Chelsea threw everything at us in the last five or ten minutes yet my memory of being there was celebrating well before the end confident of the win, I think half the Chelsea fans had left by the end too.

Imagine my pain. I choose Spurs over Leicester back in the summer of 1989 and felt very fucking smug about it.

They were 13th in Division 2 at the time and since then have been relegated all the way down to the third division of English football and yet still have 1 Premier League 1 FA Cup and Two League Cups during the same period.

I'm fucking cursed!!

So its all your fault, damn you :D

Seriously though, the last 30 years saw the transition to the Premier League and the injection of big business money into the game, which has led to the elite club dominance. Only 4/5 clubs can seriously claim to have had regular success since then. Spurs are just one of many clubs who have had to make do with fighting over scrap, trying to keep within touching distance.
