Federer is like that fly buzzing around you, no matter how many times you hit or beat him, he just won't go away!

Murray's weak mentally, not as much as he used to be, but it's still there. When things stop going his way his body language changes and he mopes around the court between points like a sullen teenager. I'd like to see him win as it would be nice for someone new to be champion and it would help him push on but he's battling himself a bit I think.

Congratulations Roger. The greatest of all time.

Unlucky Andy, just beaten by the best.

He is, but he's also unfortunate to be around at the same time as and not be as good as 3 of the best of all time.

Good effort though, he did well to make the final.

True. Although they've also pushed him to up his game to a level he may not have otherwise.

End of the day, nobody has had to face a British opponent in the final in 74 years and all of the pressure that entails. I doubt Federer's ever served for match at Wimbledon with people openly disregarding etiquette and chanting for the opponent like it was a football match. Not that I think it was wrong...it was kind of lovely....it's just something nobody has had to face....not Becker, not Sampras, not Bjorg. And he stood up to such a distinct environment and won.

That shows an ability to concentrate and a coolness under pressure, most of us couldn't possibly imagine. And despite your leanings for who would end victorious, that has to be appreciated.
