Now the window has closed, I thought it'd be useful to provide an overview of what our squad will look like for the final 15 PL games, League Cup Final, Europa League and perhaps heading into the summer.

As per PL rules, we were allowed a maximum of 25 players that were over 21 on 1st January 2014. Of those 25, only 17 were allowed to be non-homegrown, with the remaining number up to 25 being homegrown players.

A Home Grown Player means a player who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

This window saw the departures of Kyle Naughton and Aaron Lennon during the transfer window, leaving us with 21 registered players.

GK - Lloris, Hugo (vice capt 2)
GK - Friedel, Bradley Howard
GK - Vorm, Michel

DF - Rose, Daniel Lee (HG)

In addition to the above, the first team squad also contains the following players who were under 21 on 1st Jan 2014, and so do not need to be registered in the PL squad to play.

DF - Yedlin, DeAndre Roselle
DF - Davies, Benjamin Thomas
DF - Dier, Eric Jeremy Edgar
MF - Bentaleb, Nabil
MF - Onomah, Joshua
FW - Kane, Harry

We also have the following players in the U21 Pool to pick from:

MF - McEvoy, Kenneth (on loan at Colchester Utd until 30/06/15)
MF - Pritchard, Alex David (on loan at Brentford until 30/06/15)
FW - Oduwa, Nathan (on loan at Luton Town until 30/06/15)
FW - Coulthirst, Shaquile Tyshan (on loan at Southend Utd until 30/06/15)
FW - Sonupe, Emmanuel Olukolade (on loan at St Mirren until 30/06/15)

If any of this looks incorrect, let me know and I can edit.

Thought it'd be useful to put all the squad info in one place, save the inevitable questions which will crop up. I didn't have the patience to look up the reserve pool positions, but I can add if required (or if someone else wants to do it!)

Looks good - the only changes I can spot are removing Coulibaly and adding Jonathan Miles back in as he signed a new contract with us part way through the season.

I was quite tickled by 'Edgar'. Poor Dier...

I could understand it if he was named after decent footballers of that time - Edgar Davids (94, but maybe), Eric Cantona.... but who is Jeremy?

Maybe they liked Top Gear? lol

Quite pleased with the squad.

As much as I would like Ade to have gone it would have left us short.

Think we have good depth in every position and ideally we would have got rid of one centre back.

Would have liked some more quality but Jan not a great time to buy.

The Europa squad is where it gets interesting. Dier and Yedlin do not count as u21s in UEFA competition, if I am not mistaken. Ceballos obviously gets left out for Dier but who else do we leave out? Brad and just risk it with 2 GK's? One of the 3 remaining malcontents? Or do we not name Yedlin(which kinda defeats the purpose of bringing him over early, one would think)?

I think you're confused. Dier was already in the Europa league squad as a list A player. Naughton and Lennon have opened up two list A spots, one of which I Yedlin could fill.

Didnt we name 17 HG in Europe and to include Dier, we had to leave out Ceballos though since Dier doesnt count as HG, though? If thats right then Naughton and Lennon being off make no difference because they both were listed as HG players.

Of course, I can be completely wrong again like i was last time in the itk thread lol

FW - Kane, Harry

Seeing as you are giving their full names, is it so that Harry's actual given name is Harry (not, say, Harold)? (wiki says Harry Edward, for what it's worth.)

This is really crucial information!:)

I went off the Premier League registration list. For some reason, Harry was just Harry on that.
