Didnt we name 17 HG in Europe and to include Dier, we had to leave out Ceballos though since Dier doesnt count as HG, though? If thats right then Naughton and Lennon being off make no difference because they both were listed as HG players.

Of course, I can be completely wrong again like i was last time in the itk thread lol
You're confusing PL squad rules with UEFA list A/list B squad rules.

I think you're confused. Dier was already in the Europa league squad as a list A player. Naughton and Lennon have opened up two list A spots, one of which I Yedlin could fill.
Not a phrase I use often but Yanskpurs is right; in Europa to have a 25 man A list you need 4 club trained and four association trained players, and U21s only qualify for the B list if club trained. Losing Naughton and Lennon does not free up any spaces for non-association trained players, so Yedlin, Ceballos and Khumalo remain ineligible unless someone is omitted.

Worth saying that we named 21 players over age 21 - not unusual, Chelse named only 18, Arsenal 22, Liverpool 19, ManC 23 and ManU 21.

Our 21 included 4 HG players (Mason, Rose, Townsend and Walker) with 17 players trained overseas which includes all thev usual suspects but also Freidal and Ceballos, neither of whom are likely to play but no reason not to name them - but no room for Khumalo.

Players out on loan who would need to be named as over 21 players if included in the squad next season are Carroll and Pritchard, Fredericks and Archer - all 4 would qualify as HG.

Notable players included in the u21's include the folloowing who will need to be named as overseas trained next season - Eric Dier, DeAndre Yedlin whilst Harry Kane would count as a Home Grown.

Players such as Nabil Bentaleb, Milos Veljkovic and Dominic Ball will still count as u21's next season.

So as far as squad numbers go, next season if we 'lost' Freidal and Ceballos (and assume lonees Holtby and Lennon do not return) we would be able to accomodate all of the likely loanees returning and this seasons u21's turning 21 (Carroll, Pritchard, Fredericks, Archer, Dier, Yedlin and Kane) with the sale of one of the overseas trained player named in the list (other than Freidal and Ceballos of course).

So it looks as if January's TW, whilst uniinspiring, did just about enough to set us up for next season's 25 man PL squad.

Wages of course, its possibly a different story, and we still need to lose a few non-performing players.

Oh and interestingly Dele Alli is named in the u21 list this season.............

Dier still counts as U21 next season, as he doesn't turn 22 until after 31/12.

I went off the Premier League registration list. For some reason, Harry was just Harry on that.
I wonder if we can assume that his parents were fanatical Spurs fans, and also somewhat cultured (although, are not all Spurs fans?:)) Although that Harry's given name was Henry.

I'm not sure what you mean?
